About Memetric: Final Lifeforms

The game has a main gameplay based on sidescrolling strategy set in a sci-fi world. The goal of our protagonists is to restart life on the planet after an extinction.

Depending on the walkthrough, various creatures can be acquired and bred, many of which have unique characteristics.
By buying and breeding these creatures, you can gain raw material (energy).
From the energy, you can develop walls, lasers, mines, and a wide range of other protection devices. The game has a passive development system, your instrument repertoire develops in a direction that the system thinks is handy for you.
And what are these defenses against?
Against Mold, which, like an infection, floods forward and destroys your wildlife.

The game features a medium-length story that connects the 5 terrariums in the game and the side quests.
Furthermore, a freer conversation system with NPCs, which also allows for different responses. With your different answers, you can build different relationships with NPCs that influence the course of the story, but do not get involved in the end result.

The patch (The right way) threw a lot of it, I can finally evaluate it positively. It has mistakes, many things are even unfinished, but I hope they can finish it, because it would be worth it.

Nice game with complex mechanics. I recommend everyone's attention to the difficulty levels, if you are a too OP player. Its mistakes are still, but even Early Access, so it's early to be upset. Anyone who wants to buy it does it at ease. It's the same game you see in the preview or gameplays. It won't be deceived you. And the developers seem very persistent in getting the game ready.

If you see a bigger discount on it, buy it. I bought it in December, and I didn't regret it. But this game's just a "Kingdom", or "Until We Die" after-image. I only feel this is a bit less. On the other hand, it's easier and already has significantly more levels and maybe more content than in the two mentioned. These are my problems with it: - It's a terribly protracted game right now. And it has terrible focus. - In many places, it is unnecessarily grinded, and the grind, the "energy" cannot be transferred between levels. - Normal difficulty is not challenging enough. But he has a lot of time-space under which nothing happens. - Key commands are still complicated. - The hub is so undeveloped compared to the design of the playgrounds, that only the very complexity of the playgrounds exceeds it. It's so confusing. - Some of the sounds are still unsatisfactory, even after months. - It seems to me that the combination of kingdom aftertaste, tower-defense, and RPG elements is the biggest stupidity I’ve ever seen. For me. However, it has a good side too: - "The Right Way" is really the right way. - The game's appearance is the most retro beautiful thing you can see. It really is as i…

I would recommend it first and foremost to those who want an experience completely different from the mainstream. I literally searched for this game on steam. I'm a big itch.io fan, I try all kinds of stupid things, and I played an early version of this. It makes me a little sad that it's still early access. But it's amazing how much it's changed guys, I'm really curious to see how evolve this project takes until it's released. I hope that the very old version, which I once enjoyed so much, will be uploaded somewhere again, because I would like to play it again.

It's very complex. It draws from many different genres, sometimes it does well, sometimes less so. I will definitely play with it again.

I don't get it. My pc more than doubles the recommended requirements ( I regularly play FO4 and Rimworld with over 100 mods in any given run) and this game has crashed on me multiple times. When it does play, there is an incredible amount of lag and the inputs can take anywhere from 2-5 seconds to register, which I personally find unacceptable. Long story short, I can't recommend a game that's virtually unplayable with at least 2.5 of my hours waiting for the world to actually load after accepting my gender.
