About Mereonozis 2D: The Kingdom of Gremlins
You will play for a robot who wakes up on an abandoned space station. To repair the station, you need to repair equipment and solve the puzzles.
Beware of gremlins! They are not dangerous for you but they'll break everything you've repaired so far. They are also a part of a puzzle: you not only need to scare them away but you have to do it the right way!
This is a metroidvania based on puzzles instead of battles. You open locations step by step. And you may freely navigate throught the unlocked locations. The station has a vast network of railcars. They will help you to move quickly between its compartments.
On some levels you may try different machines: cranes, cable cars, manipulators etc. They may be controlled with special control panels in the bottom right corner.
Sometimes you may see astonishing alien landscape behind the window or occasionally find forgotten diaries and documents in the underground compartments. They will not only help you to go through the puzzles but will also reveal the story behind the abandoned station.

"Mereonozis 2D: The Kingdom of Gremlins" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This was an attempt to create a "metroidvania" style adventure/side scroller "platformer" (with much less emphasis on actually, you know, jumping from platform to platform). There's a lulzy sci-fi theme that doesn't work, some effort at making "unlockable" areas, but all in all this was a huge failure, nobody was interested in this. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. The developers abandoned this 1 year and 2 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games.
