Mereonozis 2D: The Kingdom of Gremlins successfully builds an engaging narrative puzzle experience by blending classic metroidvania exploration layout with a structured, combat-free environment focused on space station restoration. While the premise of a non-violent, choice-driven mechanical repair routine initially looks like a simple indie experiment, spending exactly 45 minutes inside the client is more than enough to see that the execution delivers a highly focused and rewarding strategic fix.The central feature that reinforces the experience is its clever engineering loop. Instead of mindless backtracking or predictable action phases, the core gameplay quickly channels into a creative routing system where you manipulate cranes, operate control panels, and outsmart pesky gremlin mechanics. It functions perfectly as a clean, stable prototype framework that values logical execution over grinding layout. On the positive side, it successfully respects your active Steam showcase by completely omitting tedious, broken tracking achievements, while fully respecting your actual gaming time for a satisfying casual session. Do not skip this deployment.

"Mereonozis 2D: The Kingdom of Gremlins" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This was an attempt to create a "metroidvania" style adventure/side scroller "platformer" (with much less emphasis on actually, you know, jumping from platform to platform). There's a lulzy sci-fi theme that doesn't work, some effort at making "unlockable" areas, but all in all this was a huge failure, nobody was interested in this. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. The developers abandoned this 1 year and 2 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games.
