Midnight Crane, developed and published by Dekaizen Studios LLC, takes an ordinary setting and quietly twists it into something deeply unsettling. You step into the role of a night-shift worker in a dim, aging arcade, tasked with something almost trivial—playing machines, winning prizes, and finishing out your shift. At first glance, it feels like a low-stakes, almost cozy simulation of late-night routine. But the game wastes little time in revealing that beneath the neon glow and mechanical hum lies a constant, creeping danger that transforms every mundane action into a potential risk. The gameplay is built around a careful balance between distraction and vigilance. On one hand, you’re engaging with arcade machines—claw games, basketball shooters, and other familiar activities that require focus and timing. On the other, you’re responsible for monitoring the environment, listening for subtle audio cues, and responding quickly to signs of intrusion. A masked figure stalks the arcade, attempting to breach entrances, and your survival depends on reacting before it’s too late. What makes this system effective is how it forces you to divide your attention; every second spent focusing …1 found this helpful
Hyper realistic claw game go to walmart in detroit for a similar experiance
I'm on the fence about this one. I'm going to give it a tentative "yes" The game has a fun premise, and the crane game mechanic is well done, but there is too much filler, too much walking that gets super tedious. I made it as far as completing the basement, only to find out I had to get another 25 prizes which must be thrown or walked to the "prize box" in the office, all while having to keep a killer out every few prizes. I feel like it could have been cut down a bit and still been enjoyable. The jump scares and variation of routes into the place are well done. It's gimmicky, and for many might overstay its welcome, but still worth playing if you like indie horror.
Before the crane task started I was quite positive about the game. Good atmosphere, interesting setting. But then the game was destroyed for an unnecessary reason: too much repetition. The game wants you to pick 50(!) items from the crane machine and each of them has to be taken to the basket one by one. This miiiiight still be acceptable if the autosave (there is no manual save) would give you a reasonable amount of safety. Unfortunately, if the intruder catches while working (yes, it is work) on the crane task, you might need to redo significant parts of the work. After two failures I gave up the game.
Honestly a really good horror game. The gameplay loop was pretty fun. Even though you have to get 50 crane game prizes, it never felt like padding, because of the survival element to it. The story is goofy, but not in a bad way. There are minor bugs, such as the doors spazzing out when I am being chased (might be a PC glitch on my end), but none of them were ever game ruining. It's a solid Horror game and I enjoyed my time with it. Also I want to mention how I got TWO PRIZES AT ONCE FOR MY FINAL 2 PRIZES NEEDED!!! IT WAS EPIC!!! It was an axolotl and a loaf of bread if you want to know.
Awesome game! great story line! Must play!
