[後半に日本語レビューあり]
A bunny thief running across the stage in a genuine NES 8-bit puzzle show
Not merely retro-styled, this puzzle action is designed with actual NES hardware execution in mind. Starring a mischievous bunny thief, you break blocks, climb ladders, and flip red and blue floors via crystal devices to change the path. Across 50 stages, the goal is to collect all treasure chests on screen and reach the exit—a simple structure, yet one that demands careful thought about the order of triggers and chest acquisition. There are no enemies or time limits. Instead, terrain changes through color switching, spikes, and one-time platforms highlight the puzzle aspect. A score system grants extra lives at set thresholds, while stage select and instant retry keep the trial-and-error tempo smooth. Graphics are retro-flavored pixel art, with the bunny thief’s character cleverly expressed within hardware constraints. BGM/SE have the simple charm of NES chiptunes. The inclusion of a .nes ROM file further excites collectors, as it can be played on emulators or NES-compatible hardware. Because the focus is on “reproducing the play experience of that era,” there is no in-game tutor…

Challenging but fair puzzles and a very generous life system so you never get frustrated even on the more hardest levels. Truly feels like a lost Famicom/NES hidden gem.

Plays great on the Deck. This is a fun little NES puzzle game. The puzzles are challenging but fair, with a gradual increase in difficulty as the game introduces new items and obstacles. There is a manual that explains the game, however I found that I really did not need it. Despite the original NES not being capable of modern day tutorials, the developer did a pretty good job at slowly introducing each item that the game basically teaches itself. In essence, the game itself is a tutorial and I just figured things out as I played. The extra life system is more than fair and as there is no save feature at the time of this review, there is a level select option. You can just pick whatever level you want to play. For example, if you have already completed up to level 15, just pick to start at level 16. I like the simple "CRT" filters that makes the game look a little more "NES on a CRT" authentic. Just pick the one that reminds you the most of your NES connected to an old CRT TV via an RF cable. Do not go in thinking there are any "modern day" elements per se, this is a true NES game at its heart. So much so, using the included ROM, the same game will run on an any o…

Great little NES game! Ignore playtime, I played the (included!) ROM on an actual Famicom. Normally not a fan of puzzle games, but I keep coming back to this one. Feels polished, and the mechanics are naturally taught with good level design. Puzzles are fun to solve and really clever.
