It's a shame that this game is so overlooked. Like the name suggests, this is supposed to be a tech demo for the Pixel Maker MV, but this shouldn't hide the fact that it's a bona fide platformer with admittedly unforgiving hit detection. The main draw of this game is the fact that there are different platforms signalled by the buttons of your controller, which you are able to activate or deactivate. There are two kinds: hold buttons and toggles. They can be either already activated or deactivated, and so you get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of all different platforms, including the "A", meaning that every jump changes the platforms of the "A". It starts fairly innocently but really utilises the feature in greater length during the first 4 worlds. The game basically turns into finger twister, as you are forced to make inconvenient grips to hold several buttons at once. This is a good proof that sometimes game design can't avoid being inaccessible if it damages the premise, and in this case, being a finger acrobat, hurting your fingertips is part of the experience, and it's a hell of a lot of fun figuring out all sorts of crazy grips to overcome the later trials. After this, the "main campaign"…5 found this helpful
