Very good horror, puzzle game that scared me sh*tless. I screamed a lot (sorry to my neighbours) and broke out in cold sweats. As a friend, I am very proud of Miniversal Games for working so hard on this game and improving it bit by bit, through lots of feedback. As a player, I f*cking hate your guts because y'all nearly gave me an early death. LOVE Y'ALL!!!

Do yourself a favor; do not buy this game. It's charm is there, along with some fun jump-scares and decent through-line of story; I was entertained, despite the frequent freezes that would get my character killed, and crashed that made me have to search back for that save that is limited as is. The worst crime of all however, is being genuinely a challenging puzzle game, with that decent story, riiiiiight up. Until. The. Very. End... No one should have to slog through 30 minutes of trying different techniques on how to navigate an end game maze, with God-mode monsters, glitched actions for inexplicable reasons, and no source of any hint, not even a CLUE as to how one might proceed when stuck. I feel like a sucker for having taken a chance on it, because it feels unfinished, despite all of the apparent mods that have happened since it's release over a year ago. If this is the finished product as of April 2025, please, STEER CLEAR.

Spent 6.7 hours completing the entire game. It's a highly enjoyable puzzle game as long as you read carefully and understand the clues throughout. Though it doesn't evoke any horror for me personally, it might be sufficiently eerie for those who don't usually play horror games.
MimiCries: A Victorian Nightmare
MimiCries is a psychological horror adventure game that weaves a chilling tale of mystery and suspense within the confines of the Griswald mansion. This Victorian-era setting serves as a backdrop for a narrative-driven experience that blends exploration, puzzle-solving, and atmospheric horror. Players assume the role of a nameless protagonist, venturing into the depths of the mansion armed only with wit and a lantern. The game's core gameplay revolves around exploration and puzzle-solving, with a heavy emphasis on atmosphere and storytelling. As you navigate the labyrinthine corridors of the mansion, you'll encounter a series of intricate puzzles that require careful observation and logical thinking to solve. The game's visual style is a standout feature, with meticulously crafted pixel art that captures the essence of the Victorian era. The mansion is brought to life with intricate details and a haunting ambiance. Sound design plays a crucial role in creating a sense of dread and isolation, with eerie background noises and unsettling sound effects that contribute to the game's overall atmosphere. Light is a central mechanic in MimiCrie…

In summary: 8/10 At the time of my completion all endings of Mimicries are NOT out yet. Therefore, I will not comment on its story yet. As a horror puzzle game from a small company, it’s good. Majority of the game is pixel art. Still beautiful though. The main gameplay involves exploration and puzzle solving. The puzzles get progressively harder, but there are optional hints if you ever get stuck. The game is strategic in their save point placements, so remember to save often. Very minor jump scares and some chase/hide sequences, nothing too extreme. ---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☑ Beautiful ☐ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS ---{ Gameplay }--- ☐ Very good ☑ Good ☐ It's just gameplay ☐ Mehh ☐ Watch paint dry instead ☐ Just don't ---{ Audio }--- ☐ Eargasm ☐ Very good ☑ Good ☐ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ I'm now deaf ---{ Audience }--- ☐ Kids ☑ Teens ☑ Adults ☑ Grandma ---{ PC Requirements }--- ☑ Check if you can run paint ☐ Potato ☐ Decent ☐ Fast ☐ Rich boi ☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer ---{ Game Size }--- ☑ Floppy Disk ☐ Old Fashioned ☐ Workable ☐ Big ☐ Will eat 10% of your 1TB hard drive ☐ You will want an entire hard drive to …
