Mirklurk: Every Step Matters

Mirklurk lives up to it's name! Every step matters! Survival is more than just eating. You have to stay warm, and dry, and more, but the game tracks it seamlessly, and it doesn't bog you down with micromanagement. The combat is the most unique system I have seen since Neo Scavenger, and fights are similarly intense! Exploration is rewarding, and actions have logical outcomes, so you can discover without guessing. One of the best games of it's kind I have played in a long wile!

Grid based hp - super cool. I tried the demo for about an hour and instantly bought the early access game. I am not disappointed!

The game looked cooler than it is on your instagram page. I had a hard time telling how to actually play this game, the tutorial doesn't really explain how combat works, what the early game is... the player is kind of thrown in and they are expected to know everything.

Game is a gem. The start is very hard and harsh but you will learn fast. Once you learned how to make a good fire with lot of wood (to tackle cold), that you can collect and eat nearly all kind of things (to tackle hunger) and when you have to rest, then you will start to hunt trolls, skill in your build (like ranger or melee) and build lot of torches to dive deep in dungeons. Man the moment at start when you start with 0 but then after each looted corpse or chest you will find that will increase your gear or quality dramatically. Chopping wood and fighting with the hit point system looks fresh but when you accept it, it's pretty funny and intuitive. When you fight the first time a troll, you will think "what a big mistake". But when you invested some skill points in your main playstile (I play ranger/ bow/ poison arrows), get some gear, you will hunt them down. The feeling will be like your first troll kill in Valheim. I hope this game will grow, so the dev get more income and can develop more content.

idk can ya play this with friends? i kinda wanna play it with someone as it gets boring to play by myself.
