As a fan of merfolk, playing this game was a great experience for me. I would definitely recommend it if you're a fan of merfolk, as merfolk games are very rare. The dev is also extremely cooperative when it comes to feedback and communication. Can't wait until the game gets fully completed.

The game feels very early. There are a lot of rough edges. But it's early access, and that's not unreasonable. That said, my review is a positive one: there is a lot of charm, a lot of love, and a lot of work put into this game. Overall I enjoyed the experience, and it has a lot of potential. I look forward to seeing what it becomes. <3

Game claims to be for all ages but I don't think my kids would be able to figure it out. Dev is still making updates so that is good! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFfEzESMpZ4 Steam Recommendations YouTube TikTok

Miuratale is an independent action RPG that embraces a concept rarely explored in modern gaming: a fantasy adventure set entirely beneath the sea. Developed by Carrion Wave LLC and Studio Nemi and published by Carrion Wave LLC, the game transports players to the underwater realm of Aegea, a world inhabited by various mermaid civilizations facing an emerging threat. Rather than relying on familiar medieval fantasy settings, Miuratale builds its identity around oceanic mythology, ancient mysteries, and a vibrant aquatic culture that immediately distinguishes it from countless other indie RPGs. The story centers on Keena, a young heroine who becomes the bearer of the legendary Spirit Trident and is tasked with confronting a darkness spreading across the seas. While the premise follows a recognizable hero’s journey structure, the surrounding lore gives it a more distinctive flavor. The world is divided among different merfolk societies, each with its own history and traditions, creating a setting that feels larger than the central quest itself. The developers place significant emphasis on storytelling and world-building, allowing players to gradually uncover the secrets of Aegea throu…
