The best way to describe this game is to call it Stardew Valley in VR. Yeah, I'm not kidding. However, understand this is a game in early access and the content available at launch shows as much. Do not let this stop you! In my current playthrough, I have about three hours logged in order to unlock all the items for sale in the shop and those three hours felt like they went by very quickly. I think part of this is do the full day and night cycle. This game includes an ever changing skybox that makes the game continue looking new over the course of your playtime. Each day in the virtual world lasts about 12 minutes in the real world, however you can choose to go to sleep in your bed at home at any time. This forces the game to go to the next day. As you can probably guess, the main point of this game is to start your own farm. You plow plants and water your crops daily. Each type of plant has a different cost, worth, and amount of time til cultivation. You have to water your plants each day in order to help them grow. The watering can in this game is very intuitive as are most of the tools in this game. There's a meter showing how much water is left in the pail, when it runs out,…18 found this helpful
This is a game with tons of potential and a great art style, I can see myself playing for hundreds of hours once the game is further worked out. My current positive -a great art style -a Large but empty world map to explore My Current Negatives -a lack of Teleportation Locomotion, a must have for a game i will be playing for hours at a time. -no real NPC to talk too -no clear transportation other then walking and fast travel -a mostly empty world4 found this helpful
This could potentially be a very relaxing and addictive game depending on how development proceeds. There's not much to do right now so I only recommend it if you want to make an investment into a rather promising Stardew Valley/Harvest Moon style game. I don't have a lot of time played because I just checked out the basic mechanics and they're a solid enough foundation but that's about it at present. You might decide to spend more time in it than I did, but I'm going to wait for more features before really diving in. The Devs have done a great job crafting the world, and it could be a great place to spend time once there's more to interact with.3 found this helpful
I'm giving this a cautious recommendation. It has a ton of potential. The basics are there and well implemented, it's already fun building up your farm and exploring the world (even though there isn't that much to it). At this point it's far from a complete game though. As with all early access titles, especially more obscure VR games, there is a risk of abandonment, but it's also relatively cheap.2 found this helpful
Watering can disappeared when sleeping, so I checked if someone else had the issue, and I found a post from 2+ years ago that showed the same issue. This and the lack of updates at all the last year indicates that its more abandon ware.1 found this helpful
Appears to have been abandoned, i was really looking forward to this
