Mad Hunting Simulator VR is a VR exclusive low poly animal murder simulator where you get to pretend to shoot animals in VR. It's particularly badly made shovelware that compares poorly to other VR games and other "hunting simulator" games on Steam. Gameplay consists of wandering around with a gun and shooting animals in a poorly rendered VR environment. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The controls and game handling are notably very clunky and unsmooth here. It's janky and unsatisfying to play... and any experienced gamer will tell you, the handling, responsiveness and general gameplay feel of the control scheme must be well polished for this kind of game to succeed. The name of the game really says it all. Now I am verry MAD, and I don't want to see vr games ever again!
Absolute garbage. Reused assets, the animals barely have any AI that is accurate, if you shoot one animal the one right next to it stands there looking like the light of heaven is shining down into its eyes keeping it locked in place.
This has to be one of the worst VR Games better yet games I've ever spent 10 dollars on as soon as you start the game the tutorial / guidelines are right in your face along with the skewed controls making joystick click as the main select button (good job devs). The gameplay itself is simple if you want a game where the npcs are simply afk roaming around in a literal circle waiting to die then this is the game for you. When I purchased this game I expected an overall good hunting vr game however to my surprise I was given Mad Hunting Simulator VR where you cannot drop your gun after you've grabbed it if you are playing on oculus nor can you kill an rhino after shooting it 6 times with a shotgun the lack of development and ai in this game really shows as the main locomotion for getting around the game is teleporting probably the worst locomotion for any VR game I recommend NOT BUYING THIS GAME EVEN IF YOU ARE BORED this has to be one of the biggest waste of 13 mins of my life and I play VRChat and stare at mirrors for hours on end. I rather go play fortnite with 5 Year olds than play this game for an hour with little to no dialogue, gameplay or objectives this game for its size of 3…
