I believe in Steam reviews, honestly. I think it's a great way to judge the game before buying. But that's the case only when there's like over 9000 of them. Unfortunately, it's never so with VR games. The amount of reviews is almost always abysmal. Half of them is someone fighting with his/her own headset setup and there would be nothing about the game itself. What a shame, really. This game is a real gem of a VR experience in my opinion! Even more so for a Snowrunner/Mudrunner fan. It takes a new spin on all the mundane mechanics from the full game. Take the winch for example. You have to get out from the car (yeah, leaving the car and walking around was always the thing I was dreaming about in Snowrunner), take the hook and put it on the desired object. It feels so damn slow after those spiderman-esque acrobatics in the main game, but also feels SO DAMN GOOD! And all the other things, like the need to find the proper switch, a handle, or a button to turn lights/wipers/AWD in the new truck or car. You feel so connected to the thing you're driving. Hello future self! If you happen across this game again and go "wow! mud runner in VR! That sounds cool, I should buy that and it's only like $5." NO! it made past you sick, the controls are terrible, and you can't adjust the height for a game that should be played sitting. For anyone else reading this, I could barely complete the tutorial level for the above mentioned reasons, part of that may be due to the terrible FOV on the headset (rift S) but honestly it's pretty bad and the options you have don't really help much. played all the games in this franchise on pc , after playing this game all the others fell chaidish. like to try road craft in vr.1 found this helpful

this game lags a TON when playing with steam link. genuinely one of the worst games i have played
