About MORTALITY DECOMP. KILLERS
JUST LIKE IN THE PAPERS.
MORTALITY DECOMP. KILLERS is a short, fast-paced 3rd person horror/comedy hybrid of games like Hotline Miami and Post Void, with hand-drawn visuals inspired loosely by retro detective comics. You'll step into the well-polished shoes of Clive, an undead detective working to take down the criminals that initially killed him.LIVE. DIE. LIVE AGAIN.
When a parasite reawakens detective Clive from death, he is recruited into a secret taskforce to stop those that killed him from weaponizing this newfound immortality. Slay crooks and goons in semi-linear corridor levels that are built for honing in and optimising your own quickest path through. Prepare to die, and then die again.

jank as fak settings are there only for decoration cool style tho
really solid free game! found out through playing that the experience is somewhat impacted just by little hindrances that add up pretty big sometimes (such as enemies sometimes shooting through walls, the lack of a v-sync option, etc.) another nitpick is the inability to use the machete when reloading. i know it's intentional design but by the time you want to use the thing you're gun's already reloading, thus making the machete sort of obsolete. killer soundtrack, great artstyle, a bit rough around the edges but really REALLY solid for a free game. i'm still trying to get the SS ranks. no wallace wells though, so it's bumped down to a 7/10
Cool game. But for being so fast-paced, the movement just feels off and trying to use the slash and shooting in quick succession is weird because it has a brief cooldown before it lets you and it feels so, so terrible.
GREAT just one word GREAT (Oh and it works perfectly on steam deck)
It was too buggy for me
The game has a solid foundation and it could´ve been very good, but there´s some major bugs that just made the game annoying to play through. The biggest ones were: 1. At close range the bullets almost never hit were i was aiming 2. The camera kept clipping through walls and just going crazy 3. Enemies could kill me through walls
