About Naked Sun

Naked Sun is a fast-paced futuristic VR shooter.

In the beginning of the 23rd century, humans lost the Earth. Artificial intelligence turned against its creator, and every android was updated with a new directive- to eliminate humans.

Cities are abandoned, radiation levels are too high, and remaining people are slowly dying out. Some of the survivors are hiding in the Deadlands, ruins of ancient cities destroyed by past nuclear wars, and are fighting back. But the enemy is stronger, and the only way for humans to survive is to attack.

Mexico City arcology, once the global capital, is the ultimate goal. Deadly machines and hostile androids protect the mainframe of a supercomputer that controls the planet. Getting back Mexico City is the only way to turn the tide of war.

You are codenamed Blackbird, the first successful hybrid of a human brain and a machine. Tomorrow morning, in a desperate attempt to turn the tide of war, you will intercept a cargo train bound for Mexico City, infiltrate deep inside enemy territory and try to bring city defense systems down from the inside.

Once resistance assault ships are inside, the ultimate battle for the future of humanity is set to begin.

🥈Looking for a quick VR shooter fix? 🕶️Naked Sun delivers solid arcade action, but it wraps up way too fast. ⏱️ 👍 The Good Fast Action: Non-stop arcade shooting chaos! 🔥 Great for Casuals: Perfect for quick VR sessions. 🕹️ Immersive Style: Slick sci-fi world aesthetic. 🌌 👎 The Bad Too Short: You will finish it in no time. 🏃💨Repetitive Loop: Blasting the same waves gets old fast. 🔄 Low Replay Value: Not much reason to jump back in. 🛑 🎮 The Verdict: 6/10

Bought this game on steam's winter sale for less than a dollar. In my option its worth that price due to the reason, this game crashes multiple times on my main pc, in order for me to play I had to go and play it on my old pc. This game is short only 3 "story missions" and a Arcade mode with the same 3 missions just with more enemies on it 3/5

One of the better rail shooters, I had fun with it (even If I like more complex games). Some scale of sourrounding maps/devices tricked me in a good way; "... wow, that is so huuuuuge in vr ..."

This is one of the best VR games I've ever played. I REALLY hope they some out with a full length game with all this has to offer and more! The physics are perfection, the environmental kill options are ♥♥♥ worthy. I had a BLAST start to finish and went straight through the game in one sitting. I recommend Easy mode for the best game feel. I don't think most people, other than hardcore VR gymnast veterans would be able to last long any higher than that. Bravo devs!!!

Probably really good for the time but is very meh nowadays, pretty sure i picked it up for 50p and it's kinda worth it for about that much, i think a bag of haribos would've lasted longer though as the whole campaign is just under an hour if you do it deathless. Could be a good introduction to new vr players trying to get over the motion sickness thing but only buy it on a sale or just get a better game lol.
