About Regenesis Arcade

ERADICATE MACHINES. SAVE EARTH.
Jump into the middle of the action in Regenesis Arcade, the VR sci-fi shooter set in dystopian future ran by machines. Select one of two locomotion modes (free movement or teleport) and choose from variety of weapons, one for each hand, creating powerful synergies using perks to take the fight to machines.

Most of game’s content will be a bit different every time you play due to a random generation mechanism.

WEAPONS & UPGRADES: INSTRUMENTS OF DESTRUCTION
Collect weapons from each of three categories, that can be upgraded for maximized firepower. From gravity gun, through minigun, shotgun to powerful rocket launcher and wavegun, every weapon comes with its own strengths and weaknesses you need to consider while in the heat of the combat.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY
Fighting the deadly killing machines will not be easy. Coming from all directions, covering both ground and air, each enemy requires different tactical approach. Some will activate shields that either deflect or absorb damage, others will dodge swiftly every shot coming at them or make a kamikaze run right into your face. Do not underestimate your opponent no matter how small it might be!

THE WAR THEATER
In Regenesis Arcade, you will battle through 8 detailed maps in campaign mode, ranging from futuristic cities, through forests to atomic wastelands, in different weather conditions, including a snowy blizzard!

Discover and explore each map’s enemies and weapons drops in order to gain tactical advantage! After you finish the campaign you will continue in game+ mode, that will increase the difficulty and enable all types of enemies and unique weapons to be spawned in each level.

After you unlock a level, you can start campaign from any point you want, getting faster to the further part of the game but not having all the goodies you might have collected if you’d start from the beginning. It’s up to you to either save your time grinding or prepare yourself better for the onslaught!

GLOBAL SCOREBOARD
Feel the spirit of ARCADE competition and fight for the highest score on the global leaderboard! Random generation and long-run nature of the game encourages you to master the levels and the weapons to the point where you can effectively compete for the domination as the ultimate champion without getting bored.

Regenesis Arcade brings the true spirit of retro arcade games into modern environment of Virtual Reality!

This is a very fun wave shooter and I really enjoyed being part of the beta. The team behind this game was excellent and listened to any issues and ideas I had about game and was very fast to respond to bugs. It just went to show the passion they have for their project. You start off with your guns being kinda slow and not doing alot of damage but thats the point because as you beat waves you get to level up your guns and abilities like a RPG kinda feel. One of my favorites was the super powered dual chain guns turretts it only last for a minute or so but the damage is insane. This game is fun and some waves get very difficult and you really get into it. So before you decide whether you enjoy it or not put some time into leveling up first. O and there is also a leaderboard to see how you rank against the rest of the world.

Let me start by saying that I USED TO really enjoy this game. I downloaded the demo over a year ago and loved it so I upgraded to deluxe, and enjoyed playing this quite a bit. I stopped playing for quite a long time and decided to pick it back up a little while ago, and I must've missed a few updates because everything was different. The intro tutorial used to be one of my favorite parts, I loved the quirky little drone and it was voiced beautifully, now you get lifeless beeping and text on screen that is impossible to read making the tutorial almost entirely useless. the weapon selection has changed drastically to the point where, without a clear tutorial, this game is near unplayable. I am disheartened to see what was once a very promising wave shooter devolve into this mess of a game.

As a total newbie to shooty type games,( I'm more a point and clicker,) I am still at the 'headless chicken' stage of gameplay, I don't understand if I'm doing it right and getting all the right upgrades etc but I have managed to to clear the first 3 stages, so I just wanted to say I love this game ! The scale of the game area feels brilliant, and the thingybobs that are attacking you are very menacing ! Its the game I always put friends in that have never been on VR and everyone has been impressed, so buy it and enjoy it :)

Game crashes on startup every time with an "Out of Video Memory" error. Running a 6GB 1060, well above the requirements. Tried about 10 times to run it, no luck - 8 minutes total 'play time'. Requested a refund, it was denied.

Its just not very fun. The guns dont feel rewarding to hit with. Switching between weapn/shield/gravity gun controlls are very fumbly. The teleport movement system doesnt work very well, I often find my self facing the wrong way after using it. Theres no snap turn movement. The tutorial was kind of buggy but it worked. Performance was ok. There are much better games out there, no reason to play this game even if I got it for free. Sorry developers, I am sure you worked hard on this but it needs more to it than just shooting floaty robots.
