About Navigatore of the Ruined World
The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where only two humans have survived: the protagonist and the hero. You will assume the role of the protagonist as she fights to survive alongside Harunashi Mika, the game's hero. The game itself is a visual novel where the player will be frequently required to make tough choices in order to guide the characters through the harsh and unforgiving world they find themselves in.Your choices will cause their relationship to develop and determine the conclusion of the story. There are a wide variety of different endings. The protagonist and Mika might simply work together to survive; they might develop romantic feelings for one another and become a new Adam and Eve; they might be unable to find common ground and go their separate ways.Perhaps there are even endings where they choose to give up on life entirely...Everything is determined by your choices!----------Genre: Otome GameNumber of Endings: 17 (including bad endings)----------\This game is a work of fiction.Names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Please be aware that due to the post-apocalyptic setting, there are depictions of ruined buildings and of natural disasters such as typhoons and floods.Additionally, this is a mature story featuring depictions of violence, smoking, blood, accidents, suicide, physical injury, and sexual contact between adults. The year is 2685 A.D. Technology has developed to the point where humans can control even the weather!Virtual reality tech is also highly advanced, allowing people to fully immerse themselves in virtual worlds offering unprecedented experiences.~A post-apocalyptic world where humanity is nearly extinct. How would the survivors think and act in such an environment?~The protagonist decides to participate in Navigatore, a new VR project produced by a popular internet program. There she meets with Harunashi Mika and decides to partner up with him. When the two awaken and step outside, they find themselves in a barren, deserted landscape... one seemingly far too realistic to be the product of virtual reality. As they get their bearings, they hear the voice of the program's announcer:"A man and a woman placed in extreme conditions... can they survive? How will they survive? The audience is dying to find out! We're hoping for plenty of human drama and maybe a bit of romance!""The guided part of the tour is over. Your life in the wasteland begins now! We shall await the conclusion of your story with bated breath!"An average university student who moved out of her family home less than a year ago.Has an unassuming appearance, but her friends know she's not to be underestimated. Possesses keen social intelligence and acts with conviction.A bright and confident person, she is also exceptionally patient and understanding. However, this means that she is inclined to bottle it up inside when something is bothering her, occasionally resulting in outbursts of emotion with serious repercussions...Her hobby is watching game streams.A freelance engineer who does nothing outside of work except play games, never leaving his room. His penchant for gaming has led to him becoming an FPS streamer. Not especially fond or trusting of other people, but a reliable friend to those he has become close with, being very protective of them as well.He had an unhappy childhood; his father spent all of his time at work, and his mother was the stereotypical helicopter parent.Forced to participate in Navigatore after his father signs him up without his permission.
An emotional, post-apocalyptic visual novel that combines the need to survive while falling in love. XD

Introduction
Navigatore of the Ruined World is a Japanese otome, futuristic visual novel developed by Primula and published by pencil. You take on the role of Hikari Momoi (whose name can be changed), a university student who applied and got accepted into a VR reality show called Navigatore of the Ruined World (thus, the name of this visual novel) in which she has to find a way to survive in a destroyed, post-apocalyptic world while possibly finding romance. After waking up in a cryogenic tube in the VR world and remembering how she got selected to be on the show, she meets Mika Harunashi, a freelance engineer who was forced to be on the show when his dad signed him up. The two of them decide to team up and find the other participants, all the while doing their best to survive. However, there seems to be something very off about this VR world... As for the gameplay, choices are frequently presented throughout the story, which takes place over the course of a random number of days, depending on its direction. While some choices are inconsequ…17 found this helpful
I think Navigatore of the Ruined World / Hounavi was a decently written title despite its short length. The vn explored both characters well enough for me to be able to understand them and sympathize with their plight, however, I do have a few minor gripes... When this game was first announced and marketing for it began, I was on the fence on the idea of having a single love interest game where the protagonist is left unvoiced. While I know this is not the first game to introduce such a format, I think leaving Hikari (MC) unvoiced did not do this game any favors in terms of immersion. Especially with the setting of hounavi where they are the only two characters present in the game and no one else, the atmosphere of the VN itself felt....incredibly empty to me, because Mika is the only one who has a voice. The idea and main theme of hounavi (or at least what I think is the theme) is a story of two people offering each other companionship and support in a perilious world where everything is in ruins, I think it would have been better for the narrative for Hikari to have a voice, to deepen that sense of companionship and the idea that 'it's two people working together and tryi…2 found this helpful
One of the more engaging short otome games I've played, the start is a little odd but it grows a lot and I would have loved a little more. A few things I didn't like was how the love interest is characterized some (mainly in taste though, it's done well) and the confusing choices the protagonist makes in the opening parts of the game. I think it comes together though and it's worth the read.1 found this helpful
I liked this game and it has fantastic art and VA's in it, but I would probably recommend purchasing it when it's on sale because the story is pretty short. (It took me around 5- 6ish hours to reach my first ending.) The games story is a bit predictable at times, but it was still able to have some pretty good emotional scenes. I found the interactions between the Hikari and Mika surviving this post-apocalyptic world together to be quite charming and think that their personalities work together nicely.
