Navigatore of the Ruined World

This game has a very strong premise. In itself, not an overly mindblowing original plot, but the approach on it was pretty good. I hold appreciation for this game thanks to it's nature of focusing on context over trying to sell us just the romance aspect. When two people wake up in a post-apocalyptic world with the pure belief that they are in a VR game, there are several points I was happy to see explored in this. A few examples: - the denial of the truth. there are several endings that explore this in different ways - various mind breaks. the loss of sanity upon not being able to accept the reality; 10/10 - the gravity of taking a life even in a world that's long gone - codependency. it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but in such a setting, it was pretty on point - adaptability struggles. nobody gained super powers overnight. these people struggle - reminders of how useless we are without living in a society - more focus on survival, less focus on being ~lovey~dovey~ On the romantic front... I am actually glad it was implied for most part of the game and confirmed by the finale of the good/bittersweet/sad endings (not counting the bad endings). There are a few...…

If you are looking for a short otome with beautiful character design, CGs, and great voice acting, I highly recommend this one. The plot is simple, but well-written. Despite being a short game, they introduced interesting plot twists and angst moments. Mika and Hikari are very interesting individuals, and I think their personalities go great together in the chaotic world of Navigatore. Some ends, in my opinion, were a bit tricky to unlock, so I had to resort to guides to get all achievements. I hope to see more short otome games on Steam in the future. It's a great option for players who don't have much time to play new titles.

the plot was interesting i suppose , it does kinda drag on a bit but,,,,,, theres like 17 endings so i think it was pretty worth it and mika is hot and pathetic so i recommend

Not your typical otome game Amazing CGs and VAs, solely focusing the story on a pair of ML and FL. I recommend this if you want to see development between a couple without harem squabbles. Other than that, a few pointers that make the game seem lacklustre: 1. The story of how the world met its end wasn’t very defined; although there was some explanation to it that can be explored through different ending routes, it still seems to skim through intricate details such as why Serenata wanted to bring world destruction? Were there other factions that survived this apocalypse other than the crazy hospital gang? 2. Mind-breaks of the ML and FL; Certain scenes just weren’t valid enough for me just like ending 09. 3. Expectation of more variations of interaction between ML and FL; Particularly making an enemy out of each other, since the storyline only focuses on one couple, if they didn’t end up together/ went their separate ways I was kind of hoping to see that they could survive but have a storyline that has them hating on each other or something. I'm a bit surprised that this game flew under the radar so much, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! Focusing on only two characters allows the story to flesh them out a fair bit, and the variety of paths you can steer them down offers a lot more than I expected going in. The art and backgrounds are absolutely lovely. However, the English translation has a fair number of typos and questionably translated lines, though they aren't enough to detract from the story or confuse the player too much. Also, I appreciate that the official website has a guide to the different endings, since they're very particular and would be difficult to get on your own. As the game is a bit short, I was left wishing for a chance to learn more about the characters. The information provided wasn't lacking, per se, but I grew so attached to them that I'd love to see more of their lives. I hope they can find happiness....!
