About Never Again

✦ AI summary

Explore a haunting home filled with puzzles and dark secrets as Sasha Anders, a thirteen-year-old girl searching for her missing family while battling her own crippling asthma and deepening dread. This atmospheric first-person mystery blends psychological horror with emotional storytelling, grounding its supernatural terror in the very human struggles of a frightened child confronting an impossible situation.

Never Again - Horror/first-person Quest. The main essence of the game is research locations and puzzles, plunging in the dramatic story of a little girl suffering from asthma.

The main character - Sasha Anders, a thirteen year old girl who awakens from a nightmare. The world seems to be upside down for her. Everything becomes so strange. The house is imbued with loneliness and longing and it seems strange to our character considering it was always dominated by love and harmony. Everywhere except for the heroine's room, suspiciously darkens, without even a single sound. Her parents and younger brother have gone missing. The girl is smart and sensible beyond her years, but each person has their own fears, and sometimes they cannot cope. This is especially troubling Sasha, due to the slightest fear, she feels suffocated.

The story that we'll tell you penetrates deep in your heart and leaves the experience forever. The saddest part of this mystical tale, is that it is not a tale at all. This is the story of a little girl, the story of Sasha Anders.

Legitimately one of the worst games I've ever played. The head bob is egregious to the point of nausea, made worse by the PC swaying like a drunk toddler despite being 13 years old, and the Drag-to-Interact controls are proof the other brain cell at Primary Games committed seppuku to avoid being associated with this POS. I don't even recommend watching a play through unless you down a bottle of Dramamine first.

Wow. This was a very deep story in my opinion! Well done, team. The music and ambience are great. Graphics are very realistic. I am glad the game was NOT a walking sim; the puzzles and gameplay were never too hard. I am really surprised at how well this indie game is. Only disappointment was that my Dualsense (PS5) controller wasn't fully supported, so I had to play on keyboard and mouse, which is fine but it wasn't my first choice for this game.

I have somewhat mixed feelings about this game. There were parts I enjoyed and parts that annoyed the hell out of me. The way the story wrapped up in the end left me feeling a bit sad.
