About Nigelopia Mini Mix
Nigelopia Mini Mix is a retro-styled 2D platform action game that takes place on the island of Nigelopia, where the rules of life don't apply and the people are wild, crazy and fun!
This game here’s got a very rich amount of lore and dialogue that takes some presentational influence from Japanese anime! A cool original sountrack, too! You can play through a 10 level campaign as any of 4 quirky Nigelopian friends, all with unique dialogue and some unique abilities. Finish ‘em all, and the game will be 100 percent clear!
The game was patched after launch to address many crashes and improve it as well, but the core remains the same!

"Nigelopia Mini Mix" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This is a bunch of complete garbage that was dumped onto Steam as a joke, and has no merit as a real, serious game. It was put here in the hopes it would turn out to be "so bad it's good", but truly, there is nothing good about this. It's crap. An MS-Paint platformer with a sexist gross-out theme from an anime weeb so unpopular even the other anime weebs kicked him out of the anime club. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. In terms of visuals, this features really godawful MS-Paint tier "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does…1 found this helpful

The dialogue is difficult for non-English users like me, I can't believe I spent 15 hours on this game.1 found this helpful
I don't post reviews often but I really wanted to throw in my 2 cents about this. I've been following Dark Paradise Nigelopia online for a while through the developer's DeviantArt and Youtube accounts, and have always loved the people, music and lore it has to offer. I definitely think Nigelopia would have success as a mainstream anime or anime-influenced series. This game literally plays like Mega Man X with Butts, but more floaty, which works because getting lots of air time by bouncing on your girl's butt is exhilarating. It's not explicitly meant to be an erotic game unless you find the subject matter arousing in and of itself. The main draw of Nigelopia is the girls, and they're all really cute and exciting ladies, all their little facial expressions and poses make for a satisfying experience in my opinion. The males are fun too, and I think the series would be worse without them there to play off the girls. All in all, Nigelopia is awesome. Loved it even before it got turned into a game. I'm very much looking forward to the new story content and voice acting that was announced.1 found this helpful
