Or rather, this is how a stripped down version of StS looks like. There is only one character and only about 50 cards (as a time of writing). This translates to 1 or 2 runs before essentially seeing everything. Now TO BE FAIR, the devs have been very transparent on the amount of content available and the price somewhat reflects it. However, for most people I would recommend to wait a bit until there is more content available before diving in. The gameplay itself is enjoyable both from the card play and deckbuilding perspective. Yet, I wish it would do better at differentiating itself from StS mechanics because currently only one mechanic really stands out - and those are cards that that a passive buff that can denote once 3 are stacked. Everything else from the map, effects (like weak and vulnerable), items and consumables feel all too similar.
