Way worse than 1st one. No horror just gore, dumb dialogs and dizzy camera

I never played the first one but I was having fun with this game until I got the boss battles. Honestly at this point I do not understand why there seems to be a constant black screen when fighting bosses. I am near the end and I literally cannot continue due to this issue. I have already tried multiple fixes but nothing is working. EDIT: Was able to finally fix the issue by transferring the files from my Linux system to my Windows system and play there. Still though kina of annoying since I was literally at the last boss battle. Anyway, this is a fun horror game. It's combat is very basic and the characters are caricatures of college students but that's its charm.
I remember being scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from this game as a kid. Honestly it is such a loss that this series didn't go anywhere after this game. Compared to the first game this one is SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY. I consider this game to be on par with the old resident evil or silent hill games from the pure enjoyment point of view. Especially because you can actually play it with your friends. I will forever love this game.
If you played the first one especially, this game is worth playing for the ending alone. Absolute cinema. They don't make these anymore.
