Only you can solve the mystery of Base 24. Comb a government base for evidence, catch suspects in their lies, and unravel the truth, no matter how ridiculous it may be!Enter the comedic and mysterious world of Boomtown USA, a small desert town with big secrets, and help washed-up police sheriff Miranda Warren solve cases linked to the crime that destroyed her reputation. Investigate every nook and cranny of the crime scene. Even if something's not relevant to the case, your assistant will probably have something to say about it! Use Persuasion to exploit different facets of a witness' psychology to get them to open up to you! Ask questions, push suspects, and present evidence to uncover the truth during Interrogations.
Case 1: Occult Crime Police
Seven years ago, a missing persons case destroyed the reputation of Sheriff Miranda Warren. Now, a murder case at the same mysterious government base offers her a chance at redemption. But to reach it, she’ll have to deal with a condescending FBI Agent, a suspect who keeps lying to prove his own guilt, and whatever the hell a “Thought Influencer” is.
Case 2: Medium at Large
Boomtown, USA is visited by a spirit medium who claims to be able to solve the case which ruined Sheriff Miranda Warren's life seven years ago. Everyone in town has a reason to be upset about the upcoming seance, but could someone be upset enough... to kill?

Occult Crime Police is a murder mystery so naturally there's gonna be some slightly heavy themes in here. These themes are generally presented in a light-hearted manner. Content includes depiction of a dead body, discussion of murder, familicide, kidnapping, and implied consumption of alcohol.
Additionally, the game contains flashing lights, which can be turned off in the options menu.

This was a fun investigation game. Though there were definitely some moments of weird logic, I really liked the interrogation sections. The wacky characters really worked for this type of story. My only real complaint is that it feels like the game kind of just stops. I respect the need for a cliffhanger, but it felt more jarring than I expected, given that we were given multiple mysteries to investigate. Definitely worth your time!
I enjoyed the game, I enjoyed the fun Phoenix Wright callbacks, and for free game it FELT like it should've cost something. A bit incomplete without the end of the story, but I can wait.
Very well done! The animation is great, the storylines are great, its funny, and its difficult but not to the point where its frustrating. Cannot wait for more cases to be released!!
a funny detective-type mystery game
OMG I love this game, where do I even begin? If you want to play Phoenix Wright but for free, on your computer, and want it to be way funnier and a little easier, then THIS is exactly the game you should be playing. It is a fun blend of point-and-click-adventure genre with interrogation-based-deduction games. Almost all characters are named as puns, and the protagonist - Warren is hilarious, witty and charming. There are 2 cases at the time of me writing this and both of them are really, really good. The story is laid out in chapters and in a proper timeline with recurring characters. There are some really fun dialogues and animations, plus some extremely goofy achievements!
