Oneness

A unique variation of the Lines game. Just wish there was an untimed option for Endless Mode.

Oneness is a relaxing, and sometimes challenging, line puzzle game. There are plenty of levels to play for a good while, and the solutions are varied enough that even after completing 50 levels I did not feel burned out on the game. The music was really nice at first, but it does start to grate after a couple of hours, so I wouldn't recommend playing this for lengthy periods of time. It is designed to give you easy stopping points, and I'd suggest taking advantage of them before you hate the music. I was a little disappointed that the rules articulated at the opening of the game are not enforced in real time while you attempt a solution, and I think that the lack of reminder text and just allowing violating moves until the end could lead to confusion and frustration for new, impatient players and returning players. All in all it was a nice time playing it. I felt rewarded when I beat a level I struggled with, and felt super smart when I beat a level quickly. :P

Its extremely rough around the edges, sometimes crashes if you do too many levels in endless, the music is madening if you dont turn it off after a minute or two, parts of the interface dont make much sense like why it lets you turn corners before reaching a wall when thats not permitted in a solution, the translations are amusingly poor, etc, etc. but it can get surprisingly tricky on a whole bunch of the levels, and it works well enough for the most part to get you through the game and its achievements and is satisfying to whip through levels. A pretty solid couple hours of play, and perhaps another hour to get all the achievements which is fine for the 39 pence I paid.

This is a good puzzle game. It does not take long to finish it. But for such a low price, it is still a good value. I ran into a few issues with the achievements not triggering when they were supposed to. The achievement for having 50 hearts didn't trigger until I had 52. Getting to level 100 in endless mode didn't trigger until around level 120. I was able to 100% the game despite these issues though.

A basic puzzle game that gets old fast. Also, the achievement tracker seems to function differently then how it's displayed though everything unlocks in the end.
