Operation Chromite 1950 VR

Seriously, I was not expecting this game to be so good looking and immersive! This is exactly what we need more of in VR: Story-driven single player war games with really good graphics and nice level design. Operation Chromite 1950 is far from perfect, its has issues and its short, but I can admit I had a blast playing it. Now I really hope the developers will work hard on this title with more missions, more story etc, because it has huge potential! In intense moments you really feel like being in war. The game is not super-sharp, but if you add at least super sampling of 1.4 or more, it gets crisp enough! This game has stopped playing after only half hour don't buy it

5/10 Very basic VR shooter. I like the fact that this is like the only shooter set in the Korean war for once but its so basic and light on content that its hard to recommend for any reason other than for those that love history based shooter and want something that hasn't been done before. But its cheap so I'd give it a neutral if I could.

This game is absolutely awful and is not optimized properly. On the Valve Index, I was getting wild frame rate issues all over the place from the 20s to 60s. Most of the time, the game stayed in the 40s fps with an RTX2080 and an i9 processor. In the level when you land on the beach, the frame rate was always in the 30s, which makes it basically unplayable for me. And there are no graphic options at all. Teleportation is also wonky with having to press a button for where you want to go and then pushing up on the joystick to get there. There is also full locomotion in the first two levels, but there is no option for teleportation or locomotion in the last two levels. In those levels, you stand in one spot and shoot and you cannot move at all. The gameplay also feels very cheap and indie. Not a keeper for me.
