I downloaded this game after it suggested it to me, and I thought, "How funny. I actually had an occupation as an optician, once upon a time. It'd be kind of neat to see how accurate this is!" First impressions: The game starts off with a cartoonish titled look, but quickly moved into a story with real-to-life scenes and gave me a bit of whiplash. The start has you standing in an empty room, aside from a plain looking twin mattress on the ground and a small side table with an alarm clock. You can't afford much more than this, since you've sunk all of your funds into buying a store to make glasses from. You are told to navigate to the building with some simple navigational instructions, and end up at a very plain looking store that says, "Optical Shop", or something there abouts. You've seemingly forgotten to buy simple things like chairs, lights, shelves, or much else. You do have a desk with no chair, and a computer, though. Without even having to do so, your shop has opened. It'll open with or without you standing inside, so no time for dawdling! You are meant to get RIGHT TO WORK! Starting with your first customer, you merely click on them and they've come equipped with thei…

Has potential, and i'm not going to request a refund quite yet since it JUST came out a few hours ago. Biggest issue is how sensitive the mouse is even after lowering it below 20, and after i crafted my first pair of glasses putting the lenses in, the game freaked out and i'm kind of... missplaced? i turn and instead of just turning to look i actively move through the wall outside and back in again, and i can't get it to fix itselfe.

I really wanted to enjoy this game, it's right up my alley, but I can't understand how a game launches with one of the *core gameplay mechanics* - installing lenses in a frame - not working. It's literally one of the first things the tutorial tells you to do, and it simply doesn't work. I tried multiple times, rebooting, starting a fresh game, everything. It just deletes the frames and throws an error message each time. It has now been several days since the game launched with no patch in sight. I'm extremely patient and tolerant of bugs and simulator jank, especially with small dev teams, but I'm not exaggerating when I say: LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE.

The game has gotten alot better since release. Need to add an open/close sign that way you dont have late night customers coming in to order and after accepting it and making the glasses the customer has disappeared so could not complete the order. Fix that please. All together it is playable and hoping it will continue to improve- From a Licensed Optician.

Broken game, cant even do the start cannot add lenses to the racks just the frames. and then when trying to put the lens in the first machine E does nothing. The most annoying part of this game is that it could be good, and its what my wife does so its a big shame really I think whoever made this game tried a cash grab, reason for thinking this is that even the dev would have known how bad the game is, someone who makes a game like this has played others like it and this is beyond broken. Why releasee a game in this state ? Avoid like the plague do not waste money here. not even worth the small amount it is.
