Ornate Machina: The Thousand Trials

This game follows the classic "Sokoban" formula, where the main goal is to push designated boxes onto specific statues. You control your character using only the four directional keys, and pushing is done by walking into objects. While some elements are part of the puzzle mechanics, most of the environment consists of static obstacles that you’ll need to navigate around. The puzzles introduce a few interesting mechanics. For example, there are slopes that only allow box movement when the box is placed on a cart. You can push a box onto a cart, but you can’t push a cart into a box, which adds an extra layer of strategy. Other mechanics include a sundial statue that casts impassable shadows, walls you can pass through, and a few additional twists. Overall, it’s a fairly short experience, and puzzle game enthusiasts will likely move through it quickly.
