✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the striking visuals and solid grappling mechanics, noting it as a promising student project with potential, but consistently criticize it as feeling unfinished and overly brief like a tech demo with minimal actual gameplay. Common technical issues include GPU overload causing high system strain and occasional bugs like grapple failures after respawning, while some find the parkour mechanics tedious and the overall experience too short to justify the playtime despite the good intentions behind it.

An inoffensive way to spend ~ 20 minutes to break up of the monotony of whatever game you have been playing to show some love to a team immersing itself into game development and design. Is it time wasted if it's time enjoyed?

I thought this was gonna be a really cool game because it was recommended to me for liking subnautica, however i was greeting with disappointment. The game kept getting darker everytime i entered settings, instructions were unclear and confusing, the parkour with the grappling hook seemed annoying and just tedious. I really was hoping for this game to be better because of the visuals.

This feels more like a proof of concept or a tech demo. the visual is striking, but it feels very much like it is not finished. The game as it is right now is incredibly brief, and there are barely any real mechanics to it in its current state. As a proof of concept, though it does very well.

the game feels kind of clunky at times and I had an issue where I couldn't grapple after I respawned despite that the game looks very good and has potential

Great game, looks great. My gpu was 100% for some reason. The grapple is nice.

I saw the stand at the DreamHack convention in ATL, with them advertising the project, and i love me a space game. As a student project, its very good, i like it a lot and the concept is really fun. Totally hope it gets expanded on, since it is tutorial-length short, as ive seen other reviews also state. But assuming with the rendering or something else, the game makes my computer run so loudly, it scared me for a second lol (my gpu was running at max, i think is the right terminology?). so that would have to be addressed, if anything else further is done with this project.
