A simple look of the menu as logic games usually go for. Starting layout doesn't look great with all the parts layered around. Also you rotate parts with Q and E keys OR the mouse wheel, something that isn't mentioned anywhere. You are unable to place free/unused tiles where you want, some even obstruct the field. So UI could be better but overall is nice/relaxing to look at. The finished puzzles often depict pictures. Gameplay alternates between two modes - "create longest path" and "fill in the field". The longest path felt the more difficult of the two. Restart level takes about eight seconds for some reason which seems a lot for this game (simple graphics, static levels). Do [i]not[/i] let the branding, marketing, and aesthetics of this game fool you. The developers seemingly confused the "Foddian" tag with the "Relaxing" tag. Nothing about this game will sooth you. While some of these puzzles can be easily solved by any of God's creatures He has bestowed with pattern recognition, others will leave you wondering if your parents ever got you tested as a kid and just never told you. The ultimate satisfaction you experience once you've finally managed to solve something without hitting the skip button first (and after hours of questioning your own intelligence) will keep you coming back for more. An alternative way to rotate the pieces aside from just the scroll wheel would also be nice, but isn't a deal breaker.

This is a game that really tests you at times. There are puzzles which present quite a spike in difficulty, but if you're into tougher, meatier puzzles, then that's a good thing! The game is satisfying to play, with all the pieces feeling very clicky and responsive, and the puzzles are well designed and fun. You can probably beat it in around three to four hours. The maze levels are definitely more difficult than the normal ones, but the game has a handy way of letting you skip past levels you haven't beat if you feel really stuck in a level.
