Free but a bit too buggy. After a couple unexplained deaths and three times getting stuck inside of doors that closed as I went through them, it just wasn't worth continuing.

Parallel is a strange and atmospheric adventure that I found pretty interesting once I started getting into its world. I play as someone who suddenly wakes up in an unfamiliar parallel world filled with strange environments, mysterious characters and a civilization that I know almost nothing about. I liked the feeling of slowly figuring out what was happening instead of having everything explained to me immediately. The exploration is mostly straightforward, but there is enough variety in the environments to keep me curious. I move between peaceful and almost dreamlike areas, more mystical locations and places that become increasingly claustrophobic and dangerous. I enjoyed looking around for clues and interacting with the world because the environmental details are a big part of how the game tells its story. The choice system is probably the most interesting mechanic for me. Conversations can give me seemingly simple decisions, but those choices can influence what happens later. I liked that the game does not always make the consequences obvious right away. A small decision can send the story in a different direction, which gives me a reason to think about what I say rather than…

I really want to see what they do with this because it shows a lot of potential, got a few bugs but nothing too bad overall, just so small it's hard for me to really rate it in it's current form 5.5/10
