Ants have keen senses of smell and grow incredibly fast. Combine the unique abilities of various foods to strategize and engage in a battle of wits with the ants! Will you distract the ants with the Half-Baked to lure them elsewhere, or set up Dan The Meat Can for defense? Go all out in this caloric colosseum!
Unlock ten cute and unique food characters, each with their special abilities. From Tako who squirts ink to Heath who dazes ants, you will enjoy getting to know their adorable appearances and interesting personalities. Try your best to unlock them all! By combining different character abilities, each level contains endless opportunities for strategic play!
This turn-based strategy game offers rich gameplay content, including 40+ different levels and various environments, bringing you different tactical challenges. Each level has unique challenges and objectives, requiring you to carefully plan each move, taking advantage of the terrain and each character’s special ability to overcome the Ant hoard. This game is a combination of board and tower defense genres, where the key to success is strategically placing food on the map to fend off ants and score points to pass levels. The food falls into three categories. The first category includes high-scoring foods such as Patty and Chiffon. Then there are functional foods like Dan The Meat Can and Sticky Pete – not big on points, but they're great for slowing down those ants. Lastly, there are the half-baked items that don't score or have special powers, yet somehow they turn out to be game-changers when you're in a pinch. One of the coolest aspects is the randomness and the need for some luck. Even with a solid strategy, achieving a three-star victory often hinges on getting the wanted materials and the right combination of foods. While most levels are straightforward to complete with one or two stars, securing three stars can require a bit of good fortune. The final level was a highlight for me. It provides an opportunity to use a variety of food in one single level and challenges you with complex terrain – it's like the ultimate test of everything you've learned. This game really surprised me! There is a great deal of consideration for strategic play despite what you might think from the visuals. Every round feel like its own individual puzzle where you have to make the best of the resources you're given. So far the difficulty feels well tuned, and each food grants you a unique way of engaging with the challenges you're presented with. Picnic Peril is a cute tower defense game where you defend your picnic basket from an army of encroaching ants. Levels are quick and satisfying puzzles that require the right combination of skill and luck to get the max score on. Overall a fun game that can be played in short bursts
