Solve jigsaw puzzles while defending yourself from waves of zombies using mines, barricades, and bullets in this chaotic mashup of relaxing puzzling and frantic tower defense action. Fortify your puzzle space with strategic defenses and unlock perks as you race to complete 19 hand-drawn puzzles before the undead hordes destroy your progress.
You'll need to spend Zombucks on defences to help you keep back them shamblers. Barricade the roads, line the floor with mines, do anything you can to fortify the path before the hoards of reanimated reach you (an mess up all your pieces).

I have never sweated so hard trying to complete a puzzle, than in this game. Pixel Puzzles: UndeadZ incorporates a zombie-defense style mini-game while you try to put the pieces together on the board. This includes moving and shooting with a character, and settiing up traps and barriers too! Completing a certain amount of pieces of the puzzle rewards money that you can use to buy more of the weapons above. But overtime, if you take too long doing the puzzle, more zombies will gradually spawn and you can find yourself being overwhelmed. If you can't deal with the overwhelming pressure, especially in the later more harder puzzles like I did, you have the option to play without the zombie mode. Thank god the devs added that option. Achievements are feasible, although the menu ones required some grinding. That felt annoying. Also I can do without the ear-raping screams whenever I start up the game at the loading screen. I had to mute that from my audio. But despite the 2 problems above, I've never found a puzzle game with a interesting feature, that also managed to work so well without any bugs or glitches. Well it's kind of a wash really. First it's a fun puzzle set and I enjoyed it. The zombie battle was an interesting take while solving the puzzle. I enjoyed it. Only problem is from a completionist stand point. Apparently there use to be a mini game on the main menu, but it has since been removed, but not all of the achievements have been removed from the game. So I am as complete as I can get until the correct the achievements. I know I killed at least 150 zombie on the final puzzle alone. All and all it I enjoyed, just hope they come back and fix the achievements.2 found this helpful
