About Plasma Puncher
The life of a white blood cell ain't easy, especially when its home is being invaded by a humongous germ leading a horde of microorganisms set out to dominate the bloodstream!
As the last standing white blood cell, you must destroy this Mother-Microbe and the virulent army that it carries, using your bare fists and an assortment of power-ups and special attacks!
Basically, Plasma Puncher is all about punching amoebas into oblivion. To be more precise, it's an action-brawler set mostly in a single circular stage, where different and ever more challenging groups of enemies appear semi-randomly. The player must survive all the challenges while striving to destroy the huge sphere where all the action takes place!

Some Key Gameplay Elements
- Simple controls keep the action fluid, intuitive and straight to the point.
- Upgrade system where you can improve the hero in many ways and add new attacks to his arsenal, using the golden particles left by enemies when they're destroyed.
- A variety of devastating extra powers are activated whenever you collect the Power-Cromossome, a special item that can be collected during the fight.
- The game progresses through waves of enemies. Each wave has its own set of enemies, which will be appearing randomly around the circular stage. New enemies will keep being introduced as the waves go on, requiring new strategies and approaches. Adapt, or you won't survive for very long!
- The objective is to destroy the big sphere where you walk on. But you won't be able to damage it so easily! After dealing enough damage to its surface, you enter inside the Mother-Microbe, where you'll have to destroy its core in the ultimate showdown!
- Three Difficulty levels make the game approachable and engaging from newcomers/casuals to the most experienced players. Time Trial, Hardcore mode and Achievements are also present for those who want to go the extra mile!

Plasma Puncher is a cute wave based beat 'em up game where you play as a white blood cell fighting off baddies in a bloodstream. There are no stages, instead, you collect gold orbs that fills up a meter. When that meter is full you advance to the next wave of enemies with each wave getting more difficult and introducing new enemies. There is also white orbs that fill you special-move gauge for you to unleash hell upon your enemies. There are random power-ups and health pickups to help you along the way. The game features a small upgrade menu to buy character improvements that will greatly help you out. Plasma Puncher is simple, fun, and has (in my opinion) great character design and art style. It also offers a couple extra game modes like Time Trial and Hardcore on top of the default game mode to add to the replay factor. If you like action games you can play in small bursts or binge for a few hours, Plasma Puncher is worth your time.5 found this helpful
Well, this is a frenetic idea for a puncher in a relatively imaginative realisation of white blood cells, isn't it? Very nice little hypnotic beater that made me wish I could punch covid and the CCP in their silly evil faces. We fight fire with fire, and covid with knuckles.2 found this helpful
For starters, this game is fairly short. It takes about 2 hours assuming your not achievement hunting. Luckily its got a lot of good content going for it that I will list here. +smooth graphics +very clean gameplay +very few RNG deaths (ex: an enemy spawns on top of you) +nearly bugless +good logical plot and cutscenes <>fair price +a pool of upgrades that are easy to understand and use +upgrades are actually useful and add to the games playability +huge variety of enemies that require "outside the box" thinking to kill <>good but repetitive music ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -clunky controls (especially dodge because you need to double tap joystick) -short -poor settings (game only opened on my secondary monitor and i had to play in windowed mode and drag it to my main monitor) -its a bit to easy to press "New Game" In short, not my first choice when looking for a game but still worth playing.1 found this helpful
It had everything to be a great game but unfortunately CHEAPNESS destroys this game So much annoying, bad or just unfun stuff: - horrible hitboxes - enemies spawning INSTANTLY inside you and hitting you while invulnerable - 2 enemies spawning instantly in your surrounding and blocking your character - lack of sound queues (bomby spawned in the middle of a pack? guess you're dead) - lack of clear mechanics (what the ♥♥♥♥ is that ovni mini boss) - some enemies are just frustrating to deal with, specially those with invulnerability and the ability to damage you at the same time - bad controls (dashing out of nowhere) It might be fun if you play it on easy mode, but don't expect too much from devs that think difficulty is just spawning more mobs at random1 found this helpful
A video review: https://youtu.be/BRhLmcqPSrk Plasma Puncher is a game that I didn't expect to be as compact as it was. You have yourself a beat 'em up on a treadmill that never breaks to loading screens to introduce the next wave or area. Barring pausing, upgrading, and dying, you could truly play this game beginning to end without having to switch screens. You'll clench your fists, fix up your hair, pick your favorite hat and beat the s*** out of invading force in an unknown body, and you'll love doing it. The controls are simple and responsive, which is imperative in a game like this, and the punches feel like they have weight. Specifically while some enemies' eyes bulge out of their head Donkey-Kong-Getting-Homerun'd Style. This is a short, compact, great game with a lot of replay value and it even comes jam packed with adorable enemies. You can't tell me you wouldn't want some of those little creatures as pins or on shirts. I'd wear them!
must destroy it
