About PoPuP
Our game PoPuP, which started with this little thought, is now our own identity!
The main play of the game is to help the main character Robin venture into a paper amusement park, collect all the parts and recreate the circus.
When you start the game, it starts in the forest, and when you get to the amusement park through the forest, the ticket agent tells you that the circus has collapsed.
The main character Robin can move by pulling an item or hanging on a specific section with the power of his flute or arm.
If you collect parts beyond various puzzles and traps and move across a large lake, you will meet Boss Corinth.
If you run away from Corinth and defeat him, you can rebuild the circus again.
Adventure a beautiful paper amusement park with Robin and rebuild the circus!

PoPuP is a short 2D cardboard-themed platformer with charming, cute visuals and creative art direction that players found aesthetically appealing, but it suffers from unresponsive controls, janky gameplay mechanics, and a lack of substantial content. The 15-minute experience feels more like a student project exercise than a fully-fledged game, with no memorable ending or music to enhance the experience. While some players appreciated the concept and presentation enough to enjoy their brief time with it, most felt it was too brief and incomplete to justify the experience.

[h1] Simple platformer with cardboard like scenery and a bit janky gameplay. Control carton made rabbit on his adventure through the circus. Premise is nice - cardboard circus. Platforming a bit unresponsive sometimes, use grappling hook (party horn) to grab anchor points and swing. Game can be completed in less than 15 minutes. Sounds are ok, no music. "PoPuP" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. The students made an unusual (and I guess not completely awful) 2D platformer (an osbolete genre), but at least it's presented in 2.5D with billboarded sprites for the characters. There's a weird circus rabbit theme of some kind, it doesn't make a lot of sense, being all in Korean. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. a very enjoyable 15 minutes
일단 2D게임이라는거에 놀람. 배경이랑 캐릭터 그래픽 너무 귀엽고 캐릭터 컨셉이랑 그래픽이 컵해드 느낌 나면서 이쁨! 캐릭터 지나갈때 중간중간에 배경 올라오는게 보는 재미도 있고 연출도 좋네요. 그리고 캐릭터 걸어갈때 타박타박 소리도 좋고 다른 효과음이나 브금도 겜이랑 잘 맞았음. 플탐이 짧아서 아쉬웠네요ㅠㅠ
Cute nice small game! I love the artstyle, it would be great to see something like this in a bigger game with a bigger story.
