Powwow Bound: A Menominee Homecoming is a 3D narrative-driven adventure game. Experience the story of a Menominee family returning to the reservation for the annual contest powwow. Play as Deborah Jo (DJ) as she works to uncover her mom’s history with the powwow dance circle through narrative set pieces and Powwow-inspired minigames. Learn about traditional dance styles through a rhythm game and take photos of recreated locations set on the Menominee Reservation in Wisconsin.

This isn't a "game"; it's a story with a tiny bit of rhythm gameplay to help you stay immersed, and objectives to guide you through it. However, I have to recommend this with every ounce of myself. If you have 30 minutes, this is free, fun, and touching. Lovely little story and peek into the culture of the Menominee tribe.5 found this helpful

This game has a great sense of immersion -- it feels like a camping trip, like an escape, like a dive into a new community of friendly people. The sound, visuals, and animations all come together and are very transporting. The camera mechanic works really well, and is the perfect way to connect with immersive community environment. Love it! The story, the dialogue, the environment. It's all very immersive, something which definitely helps in teaching about Menominee traditions. I feel like I learnt a lot in a short timespan. It's a nice, relaxing, heartwarming time all around. Recommended for sure!
