Buy this game only with extreme low expectations. i bought this game because i'm collecting games that have cute graphics. i love games that look like this one and the visuals are awesome! unfortunately that is the best part of the game.. maybe this game is worth it during a sale if all you care about is the visuals, but even then it's barely worth the price. very short game with a story that's paced too slow in the beginning and too fast at the end for my taste. the gameplay mechanics are strange using a mouse and keyboard, they are better using a controller. there's not much exploration or puzzles within this game, it's very linear and the story didn't hook me.. i didn't care about these characters and by the end you don't learn much about them anyway. tldr: the visuals are good, but that's about all the game has going for it. the story and gameplay are lackluster. watch a youtube video of this game, it'll be about the same experience as playing it.3 found this helpful

This game is amazing! Beautiful graphics and such a warm and cozy vibe that reminds you of your childhood!
Gioco consigliatissimo. Lo stile è artistico e fenomenale. Sembra di perdersi tra le pagine di un libro illustrato. Le emozioni si fanno sentire. Rimandano alla nostalgia dell'infanzia e ai rimpianti. L'unica cosa negativa è che dura veramente troppo poco. Non c'è il tempo effettivo per legarsi emotivamente ai protagonisti. Ma alla fine dei conti resta un breve, ma bellissimo viaggio.
A heart warming and genuine narrative exploration game, reflecting on complicated familial relationships, childhood, and summer. While the game shares similar gameplay to other narrative exploration games, Dordogne stands out with its beautiful art style and visuals. Admittedly, I do wish there was some more grand scale exploration and less linearity, as I really liked the scenery of the French countryside and would love to explore more freely.
