You can see the business model here... steal a bunch of Unity assets, dump them onto a basic FPS game blueprint to make a godawfully bad Counter-Strike ripoff, get famous and finally tell Phil he can find someone else to work the deep fryer at McDonalds. Weirdly, the developers plan did not pan out. And yet they still keep getting my order at McDonalds wrong. Pray And Spray is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? [i]Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails.[/i] Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Not the easiest shooter game to play (if you ask me at least; I'm no expert in shooters), but it's pretty good and nice for a free-to-play Unity Engine game. Biggest complaint I have about this game is the fact that you lose two magazines upon loading any rifle or pistol. Also, this game could use more weapons types, LMGs especially since I'm into those.

Игровой процесс прост, но увлекателен: нужно отстреливать волны врагов, постоянно улучшая оружие и способности. "Pray" в названии явно связано с зависимостью от рандома, ведь выживание часто зависит от выпавших улучшений. Разнообразие врагов и боссов не дает заскучать, каждый из них требует особого подхода. Система прогресса, хотя и кажется простой, предлагает достаточно возможностей для экспериментов с разными билдами персонажа. Музыкальное сопровождение создает отличное настроение и идеально подходит под динамичный геймплей. Из минусов можно отметить некоторую однотипность уровней, хотелось бы больше разнообразия в окружении. В целом, "Pray And Spray" – это отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет быстрый и увлекательный шутер на пару часов. Рекомендую всем любителям жанра!
