Princess Pyro's searing fire powers are the only hope to revert the mysteriously sudden nightfall and fight back the encroaching forces of darkness!
THE GAME
A short and sweet nod to retro arcade gaming, with some roguelike difficulty, and metroidvania flourishes! Unleash fiery havoc across Pyro Castle to uncover the source of the sudden nightfall! Fight your way to the end and defeat the source of darkness... Dun dun dunnnnn. Rack up points to get on the score board.

THE MAKING
Princess Pyro was made with a lot of soul and aimed for that flashy arcade style with roguelike difficulty.

CREDITS
Creative commons music by Sound Forces. A bit of inspiration from games like Rogue Legacy and Metroid Dread.

In all honesty, this isn't for me. Apparently, this game is short but I haven't reached the ending because I kept dying and going all the way back to the beginning which I don't have the patience for. That's the one thing I don't like about it, I just suck at it, I admit. Doesn't mean that no other player who is as skilled me at this sort of game wouldn't enjoy it. I definitely like this game's sense of humour and how there are some hidden skills that will make playing this game much easier, which are easily missed if you're not paying attention. This plays like a platforming roguelite but rather you unlocked skills by going to the same spot you found them in when you start the game from the beginning, retaking your steps and memorise where the enemies are at. I hope others who discover this game will like it. Too bad I'm not one of them.4 found this helpful
