What Steam players say

Although pretty short and with a lot of outdated humour, it was still a fun game to play through to 100%
I loved the original online version growing up but this version is so buggy and I've had to restart a couple of times in only a little bit of playing. For some reason it does not have any mouse controls, which were my preferred method of control originally.
Nice game
absolutely peak flash game that i played the hell out of when i was little, has the cleanest gameplay, fluid animations, satifying sound effect and music to hum along with. i am so glad that it wasnt just ported on steam with no changes, the devs really showed how much they care for what they created and that warms my heart. i just wish there was more, beat the whole game in 3 hours. 10/10 would recommend for its beautifully generous low price.
Read this before you buy! If you have never played Knightmare Tower before, I highly recommend that you try it out through Flashpoint, since this is a re-release of an Adobe Flash title (all of them being free-to-play). With that being said, Knightmare Tower is still one of the best games to come out of Adobe Flash, and the Steam release has a lot of differences and improvements that you should consider if you already like the game. To start with, as many people have said, the Steam release does not support mice, but it does support controllers. I played this with an Xbox One controller, and it works great when remapping the attack button to one of the triggers. It adds a very arcadey experience that simply doesn't exist when you play with the mouse. If you like Knightmare Tower already, and enjoy playing games with controllers on your PC, I recommend purchasing this even without going over the other changes, but I'll go over them in the next paragraph. A combo system has been introduced that replaces the speed bonus in the Flash version, which adds a whole new layer of depth to how you decide to kill creatures. The boss battle at the end of the story mode has been …
I am nostalgia-blind for Knightmare Tower. Just play it.
