Project Senko

This game's graphics were the first to ever give me a headache. Real bad camera angles and performance issue spikes throughout the game. Combat and boss very underwhelming. Not worth your 15 min.

Project Senko... A short, student made hack and slash. + Free! + Looks pretty good + Controls are easy to understand, as is what you need to do ~ Short - No ending. Hard cut to the main menu. Incredibly anti-climatic, almost like a slap to the face. - Easy 60+ FPS going in, then it loaded mid-level and had trouble getting back up there. Graphics didn't change so seems like poor optimization. - Lack of variety in enemies, enemy attacks, player attacks, areas, pick-ups. - Despite a lack of attack variety there's still more than you need. Mashing X and the occasional X, Y for shield types will get you through it - I didn't take away anything to remember from this I personally would pass on this one. There's still a lot to love in DigiPen's library!

Project Senko Positives: + Nice style and coloring + Simple combat + Ok sounds and music + Its free Negatives: - Non controllable, fixed & ever changing camera angle - Medicore graphics - The boss fight in the end (short, no power ups, not knowing if you hurt it or not) - No real ending - Little to no story - Its all over in 20 minutes If you got some minutes to spare and like hack'n'slash games, its an okay choice for a free game. I like the style of it and its got some entertainment value. But its very short and its got a bad camera angle solution. If you can cope with that, then give it a try. Total Score: 5/10

Сенко-сан, конечно, главная звезда, и те, кто знаком с первоисточником, будут приятно удивлены детальной проработкой её характера и поведения. Однако, стоит отметить, что игра достаточно короткая и контента не так много. После нескольких часов геймплея можно увидеть практически все, что она может предложить. Тем не менее, если вы ищете расслабляющую игру с приятной графикой и милым персонажем, 'Project Senko' вполне может вам понравиться. Это небольшое, но теплое приключение, которое может поднять настроение. Идеально подходит для коротких игровых сессий, когда нужно просто отдохнуть и расслабиться. Рекомендую поклонникам Senko-san и тем, кто ищет непритязательную игру для души.

The game was fun for the short run time it has overall. To be honest though I was pretty frustrated as the game started with steam VR spamming my desktop when this is not a VR game as well as the language being default set to French. The ULT you have is almost completely useless i only ever used it ONCE in my two play throughs. On the second of TWO levels you can skip two areas just by dashing through the containers the parry and kicking didn't seem entirely thought out as it made the otherwise smooth movement jank and unresponsive. For a free game though it was fun and i enjoyed it but only getting 10 minutes worth of game play for 2.11 GB is not something I can recommend.
