Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/7Dj0EJkD0BA This is one of the worst VR music rhythm game that I have ever played. How bad is it? Well, the developer couldn't even put the correct name for the game in the game itself. In the game, the game is called GunJamVR. Maybe the developer didn't realize there was another music rhythm game called Gun Jam (VR on Meta, Non-VR on Steam) and changed the name at the last moment. However, even so, releasing the game with the wrong name inside the game itself, shows the utter lack of care in releasing the game. If the name of the game were the only thing wrong, I may have been able to look past that issue. However, it's just gets worse from there. This game is BYOM, bring your own music. Okay, no problem you say. Well, guess what? The music does not match the gameplay rhythm / tempo / beat. You're basically playing a poorly made shooting mini-game where there is music playing in the background. That's basically this game. The UI is ugly and the gun models are ugly. There's very little positive I can say about the game other than it didn't crash and it seemed to be running well. A…

Dead on arrival. It has been a month since the launch and there was no visible reaction by the developer to address the grave problems this game has. First and foremost, you will notice the UI Problems. The tiny UI is hard to aim at, and a laser-line from the gun to the UI elements seems to work only sporadically. Pressing the fire button will sometimes register, but more often not. I can switch the gun model with the right arrow, but it's really hard to go back left. The Text is small, wonky and unclear, what button is supposed to be paired with what option. Even worse, for some reason your selection won't be saved, and the game mode starts with a "left" gun only, but keeps the gun model on your right hand. You will wonder why no hits are registering and get absolutely no clue from the game. The text states that to start, you should choose a song in the file browser. Where that is, you have to guess, because it's not named "file browser". When you find it, it's as terribly as the rest of the UI. Files and folders are little squares. There is no space to display the damn file names. You get 3-5 characters to guess the title. The "recently played" feature also doesn't work. If …

Pulsar is a paid VR rhythm shooting game that has No music included, it is use your own music. It worked on my Index and Meta Quest 3 system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. It does work, but not very good. Has 16 steam achievements. Does not work well with HTC Vive. Don't buy this game, there are better games out there to buy. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program. ViVE VR curator group

Runs well, uses a file browser for selecting your music. If you enjoyed Beat Saber then you'll enjoy this.

Played this for a bit and honestly did have some fun, and for an early access this is not too bad. There are some issues like Hexageddon being too hard currently but with time I think this will pan out well!
