AUDICA: Rhythm Shooter

It's 2026 and AUDICA is still a fun rhythm game, regardless of the fact that Harmonix [still love Amplitude & RB!] abandoned it since they got bought by Epic. I remember hating the beta, because the mapping and feel of the game was just frustrating, but all that was fixed in the 2019 release. When you're done with all the stock songs, be sure to download some customs [including mods, of course]; and perhaps look into their never completed Chroma game as the design choices were from there.

This is a good game, pretty much the beat sword game, but with guns. However, their limited song list is a downer (even with the DLC songs). I'd like to see a bunch more songs and genres of music. Wasn't going to pick it back up because of the few songs I liked, but decided to search for a third-party community. There is one! It's limited, because it's not as popular as the beat sword game, but players have uploaded custom maps/songs. That was the saving grace for me. There's also a tool I found online to create custom maps for Audica- not that I'll be putting in the work, but it's nice to know it exists.

better than Beat Saber imo

Tickles the Autism part of my brain with minimal work. Yeah, definitely recommend this one.

It's almost like a more advanced version of beat saber. It's really fun!
