About Quest of the Hero
Quest of the Hero is a quick session fantasy based dungeon crawler with risky choices, semi-idle combat, skill and item building which has a lot of depth and strategy options.
Upgrade your spells to increase their power, or you can upgrade them to focus on the key abilities to reach further in the dungeon! Defensive or offensive? More debuffs? Better debuffs? More buffes? Healing? Try out multiple builds and reach further in the dungeon.

Make choices at every step. Will you be lucky? Or peril will be coming your way?
Each turn pick one of the three presented cards, each one giving you unique bonuses or unleashing bad forces upon you. Is it all luck? Or can you strategize?Play as one of the heroes with unique play styles
Choose one of the three available heroes, with different play styles, strengths and weaknesses.- The Iron Guard - a balanced warrior, part of the Iron Guards guild who protects the Iron Fortresses. Strives to balance offensive and defensive spells.
- The Assassin - a quick and swift outlaw that focuses on speed and landing critical hits out of the shadows.
- The Pyromancer - a magic wielding hero, trained in the forgotten arts of elemental manipulation, that bursts enemies down with fire spells
Quick semi-idle combat. Build up your stats and use spells to overwhelm your foes
Defeat your enemies using a combination of physical attacks and spells. Each hero has its own combat style, and you can also choose different builds to make it more interesting.The whole world lays unexplored. It's all in the stars.
Collect Relics during your runs and use them to unlock the constellations which will enhance your dungeons with new abilities, bonuses and more powerful stats.Many options to strategize and try new builds

After playing the demo a bunch, trying different builds to see what is best and ending up playing for hours straight, I looked forward for the full release, and now it's HERE. The RnG made me sweat at times but feels rewarding, especially when you need that item on the card to create another item that you hope to save your run. It's a neat indie game, straight forward mechanics, nice visuals, the sounds and background music fit well (feels like a lot of thought and work was put into this game). I am keen to see what's next. Really sorry to the developer, thanks for letting me make a 'first impressions' video for it, but uhhh... this should have gone through a lot more polish before being put on Steam. It's bad. There's no explanation anywhere of what anything does or what's happening at all. This feels like a clumsy first attempt at game development, and probably shouldn't have been made public.2 found this helpful
I bought downloaded and installed full version but in the left bottom corner it says its DEMO. Other thing is that i achieved 100 floor by pyromancer but it not show it on the screen when i start new game it only shows 50 floor but only by swordmaster. Fix this so ill change my rev. Nostalgia for the ol' days playing games like this on Kongregate! It's really worth the few hours of fun while it's on sale, so snag it! I'm sure the developer has plans to add more content and round out the game play! Can't wait to play again when there's more! (I... basically finished the game in 4hrs and it's God mode now.)1 found this helpful

This really makes you want to keep playing, I love the fact that you have a list of recipes and you can craft items to help you progress further! Also, the pace is very well balanced towards your objective! Keep up the good work!!!1 found this helpful
