About Hero's Quest
Hero's Quest is a game where you play the role of a lovely hero, go around exploring the world, and challenge your fighting ability to reach the highest level in the limited energy range. Your mission is to reach the highest level as you can to get a lot of gold coins, new weapons, and equipment to improve your stats.
Initially, you will have 30 energy points (EP). Trying to maintain or improve this stat so you can get high levels in the game. Every time you beat monsters and Bosses, you will get gold coins. The more monsters you beat, the more money you have and the faster you go on the adventure. The more you win, the faster you level up. The higher the level, the higher your ability to defeat the aggressive monsters encountered along the journey.
During the game, you will gradually discover your abilities and find the most effective fighting style for yourself. That's the magic, it can be very rewarding to play and discover new strategies or relics combinations.
Explore the world and challenge yourself to reach the highest levels within limited energy!
• Heroes and Skins •
Hero’s Quest allows you to choose different characters to participate in thrilling battles, each hero has different bonus stats and wonderful pixel art skins. Heroes can also be situational you'll have to choose the most suitable Hero for each scenario.
• Skill Tree •
Players can choose between multiple passive Skills to shape the gameplay the way they like. Skills are separated into different types ranging from offensive, defensive, or utility skills.
• Immersive world •
Unlock multiple areas, where powerful monsters and enemies are waiting for you. Battles can be very intense the further you get. Players also need to defeat Bosses with outstanding power to unlock new Maps, Relics, and Equipment.
• Roguelite action •
Roguelite is an evolution of the Roguelike genre, this means you still have to start the game from the beginning when the game is over, but you also have permanent upgrades to make each run easier and easier while also making you progress further and further. The more you play, the more you progress!
• Automatic battle •
You'll find monsters along the map and your job is to choose the fights. Your focus should be on strategy, Hero, and Relics combinations. Let the game do the rest.

Disclaimer: i actually truly love this game but i have been waiting for literal YEARS for an option to hard reset my save (along with dozens of other players begging for this feature but after switching to linux, disabling steam cloud AND doing a clean install on a brand new os on a different drive than it was originally and my old save STILL somehow loads when i dont even HAVE files for it on this system.... this game is dead to me EDIT: so it turns out you CAN "kind of" wipe your save... you have to delete all the saves on your computer than launch the game after disconnecting the internet (NOT making steam offline mode... the whole internet) turns out the game is always online and keeps your save on a server that will always override (and overwrite) any new game you make... So always keep a backup of your offline save and never start the game while plugged into the internet i recommend everyone play this way... as having your save permanently linked to a server you have no control over is just not worth it JUST to have access to an unwanted leader board and the game still lets you spend IRL money in game for the ticket boosts.... when you start it offline.. meaning if you s…3 found this helpful

good just a bit grindy but it's bearable
Simple. Repeating. Fun. But you should look at what negative reviewers have to say because a lot bring up good points. If the game is cheap for you then it is worth it otherwise give it a skip.
