About Raccoon The Miner
Story of one hard-working Raccoon who is searching for gold. Your goal is to help Raccoon find all gold and not get into trouble.
Gameplay base on nonograms logic.
Nonograms, also known as Picross or Griddlers, are picture logic puzzles in which cells in a grid must be coloured or left blank according to numbers at the side of the grid to reveal a hidden picture. In this puzzle type, the numbers are a form of discrete tomography that measures how many unbroken lines of filled-in squares there are in any given row or column. For example, a clue of "4 8 3" would mean there are sets of four, eight, and three filled squares, in that order, with at least one blank square between successive sets.
You will be involved in a long Raccoon story during which you will gain experience and become able to solve huge complex and interesting puzzles.
In case you will be stuck on some point, you will have 3 types of different bonuses:
- Magic Stick for Poking
- Shield of Invulnerability
- Farsighted Companion
With these magic tools, you will reach success and become real master of nonogram mining!
Good luck, The Brave Savior of Raccoons!
Update 1.0.1
- Fix - steam leaderboard now updated on the level end
- Reduced energy consumption per 1 round
- Fix - level selection menu now shows the correct section
- Reduced bonus prices
- Added sounds to buttons

It's a typical picross/nonogram type of game, but there are many flaws. The puzzles are random, meaning they have no picture, making them harder to keep track of. Also, some of them can't be solved with logic and require guessing/hints. You can't mark off numbers as completed, there are no 5-tile marks, and you can't resize the game (which should be the case, because the puzzle gets real small in later levels). Also for achievement hunters, the 50k coins one is kind of annoying. Either you play the game over 2 times, or you need to use other means.1 found this helpful
The absolute bare minimum to count as a nonogram game. Randomly generated puzzles, comically small board with no graphical settings to make it bigger, inability to mark off individual numbers as completed, no 5-marks for visual clarity, completely arbitrary board sizes that the game doesn't even tell you, it's horrid. At least it has the decency to be free instead of making you pay for this schlock.
+1 ❤️
Missing QoL features most would consider standard such as lines to count in blocks, zoom, and greying out a finished line. Levels are random each time you restart. They have no picture element either. There really is no reason to have separate levels, it could just generate a level based on chosen parameters. And if you want that you can find an website that does that at the top of the 'nonogram online' google results page, and with more features. Odd graphical choice for correct squares too, the lava-like effect makes it look like a mistake. Also zero connection to animals or mining.
