fun spin on minesweeper :)
I feel scammed somehow even though this is exactly what I bought.
On the one hand, the basic idea of the game is great, and I wanted to be able to recommend it. However, the more difficult levels tend to rely more on dumb luck than actual difficulty. They tell you this about the highest-marked levels in the first few chapters, at least. However, it turns out that this is true for ALL of those levels, no matter how they're marked; it makes me wonder why the devs marked them with any specific difficulty at all. It becomes a slog to play when you might find yourself stuck guessing even after using powerups wisely, and it shouldn't be necessary to use the shop every level to avoid losing. This same pattern is arguably worse with the Tower of Power, as the odds of a puzzle being solvable by logic alone go down with each floor; after a certain point it's just luck whether you get any further, which is frustrating as all hell. That said, it looks like the second game of the series fixes a lot of these problems, so I'll likely buy that one anyway.
its definitely minesweeper EDIT: this game is good, the best part is that you can alt f4 out of the game during a puzzle and when you load up again you're always back at that puzzle with all your progress. EDIT: all my progress randomly reset, uncool :(
I play this game whenever FAItH pisses me off. The game is literally just standard minesweeper (but with funny shapes). The achievements, however, are just difficult enough to be challenging, without being overwhelmingly annoying. This game is a great time filler, and I definitely recommend it for that reason
Played on mobile years ago, this is a good port overall, but is lacking multiplayer & the steam achievements seem intentionally VERY grindy, long past the point of being fun.
