Randall: ~~~~~~ Where I am? Oh my god, I am confined in the dark . . . in a coffin! What’s that tiny light above my foot? I may be able to break through . . . that’s it, kick it as hard as you can under the light. Come on harder and harder! Yes, I did it - I broke through, but what’s wrong with my head? I have a massive headache and I still don’t know where I am! Randall is a platformer game where you take control of a slightly schizophrenic character who has telepathic abilities and needs to find his way through the city of Nook to escape and survive! After Randall breaks through his cosy stone coffin, he will go through an intense tutorial where he will learn how to jump on walls, dash, hop and fight, to start with. I’ll say it up front, this game is very challenging and you might find some new words in your vocabulary. Well, I certainly did! After successfully finishing the tutorial, Randall will start his journey at the academy of Nook, which is one of the six locations he has to visit. The other five destinations include the city, the prison, the factory, the catacombs and the recycle plant. Each of these locations has a couple of areas to explore and Randall has to find…12 found this helpful
About a year ago when in mexico, I was asked to play the game when it was in early stages. So I might be a little bias but here it is... (please note, im not far in the game) The art style is awesome with really beautiful cutsenes and colour. Level design is not amazing but it still is pretty ok. The game's level design is hard though. The controls are pretty good on a controller, Disapointingly, you cant customize controlls on the PC. The Game is a little finicky and glitchy but im told that will get updated and patched. A major glitch i found is the fact that you can controll randal when the black fade in is happening. Which makes it so that you can pass some electronic fences without being hurt by them. Randall is almost a little too responsive in that its easy to get killed by touching the electricity without meaning to even go near it. The joy stick is a big fault, even with a slight touch, randall responds greatly. I like the beat 'em up aspect and fighting in the game because its not too hard but not too easy. I am nowhere near a pro gamer but for a casual gamer, the fighting is good a little bit of punctuation mistakes (not really important though) Overall, the game…6 found this helpful

A challenging and visually attractive platformer. The action is pretty smooth with some tricky parts where you have to execute super accurate jumps to avoid getting killed. However, this game is very forgiving with the re-spawn points. The fights aren't very challenging for someone who is a beat em up expert, but it's still pretty fun to bash police skulls. Boss battles have interesting mechanics. I would seriously suggest the use of a controller. The soundtrack is very good and some songs have this Michiru Yamane vibe.3 found this helpful
The game starts out as a semi enjoyable beat em up, but quickly loses itself in tedious puzzle sections boss fights with way too many instant death mechanics. There is a 'health regain' mechanic when you manage to mysterious get a 'combo' (which resets if your target dies, or the game feels like it). However, the regain doesn't work on bosses, even if you do get to punch them. Warning, they like their puzzle bosses.2 found this helpful
