Combat in this game is flashy, but not enjoyable. The guns are peashooters and you are reduced to just spamming launch the whole game and even then half of the enemies you will encounter just instantly dodge the ability. I find it hard to believe that the same studio that made Max Payne made this game. The game is themeatically fun. If you like any combination of the following you'll probably like the story and the world: The X-Files, SCP Foundation, Half-Life, Portal, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. With that being said, the game is pretty derivative. You can tell it's a patchwork rather than an intricate weave of elements. You will also be expected to read and watch a ♥♥♥♥ load of collectables to fully grasp the story. The game is also quite buggy and unoptimised. I recommend playing with -dx11 in the launch options.

Just pure perfection. 10/10, I love this game so much. Worth every second of every playthrough (even replays).
