Red Mercenary is a action adventure with rogue-lite element.
You are hired as a mercenary to retrieve a magic crystal. Alone or with your friends, you fight your way through dungeons, gain new abilities with magic items, level up, gain new items and level up again. But mainly try to survive to the swarm of enemies that constantly spawn around and of course want you dead.

This is a very fun little roguelite with a ton of replayability. It is similar to games such as risk of rain and synthetik in style. Shrines, pets, and tons of fun items to collect each run make a return here. There are so very few roguelites with online multiplayer support and this game although simple, is very fun. This game should have more players. For a game with a single dev it is very well executed. The dev is very responsive to feedback. There are still some bugs mostly in multiplayer that can cause a crash atm. I recommend joining the discord and posting and issues or feedback there. Several times when we posted issues the dev responded immediately and within minutes had found the bug and fixed it and then uploaded an update to the game. This happened multiple times in a single day. Roguelite out-of-loop progression: The game has several diff characters each with their own skill tree to apply points to. There are also several unlocks to buy as well as a shop where u can buy a few items to use on your run. This game has a lot of replayability. If you like roguelites in general, you will probably like this game.5 found this helpful

I get a memory error crash whenever I try to load in (single and multiplayer), and friends get lag when playing multiplayer (and then later crashed due to some manner of unidentified variable issue). Controls mapping limits the keys you can define too, so no using things like Shift or Control, and I also wasn't able to map to my controller either.
