I am really bad at this game, but I enjoy the absolute rush of adrenaline playing this. Sometimes I get to 3-1 and feel great and then I die and restart over. Sometime when I will get a first win I will update this review, but I just say this is very well built game about styling on the fast road with very great visuals and nice sounds that just click many things in your brain

REDLINE CROOKS, developed and published by Alexander Golke, is a high-speed roguelite that merges top-down driving with chaotic vehicular combat, creating an experience that feels closer to an ongoing chase than a traditional racing game. It is built around momentum, destruction, and improvisation, constantly pushing the player forward through a series of unpredictable runs where survival depends as much on aggression as it does on control. There is no heavy narrative focus, and the game does not attempt to build a story beyond its core idea. Instead, it leans entirely into its gameplay loop, using its setting as a backdrop for continuous action. This minimal approach works in its favor, as it keeps the focus on the moment-to-moment decisions that define each run. Gameplay revolves around navigating procedurally generated roads while dealing with waves of pursuing enemies. The top-down perspective gives a clear overview of the environment, but the speed at which everything unfolds demands quick reac…

Every death I have is pretty much some one hit kill to an unavoidable boss that respawned for a third time. You can power up for ten minutes and still get wiped out in a single charge move that starts off screen.. so that sucks. But the ten minutes leading up to that BS moment I do typically enjoy, and even though I immediately quit after it.. I do keep coming back. So if you find it cheap.. no, it's not some crazy in depth involved game or anything, but it's more fun for those ten minutes here and there than a lot of AAA titles. So.... sure.
