Players appreciate this escape room game for its solid puzzle design and accessibility across different skill levels, though some find the difficulty inconsistent and a few puzzles feel disconnected from the game's context. The main complaint centers on poor documentation: the developer fails to explain unfamiliar puzzle formats like Picross, instead offering only solutions in guides rather than rules, which frustrates players unfamiliar with these types. While the game is generally well-made and enjoyable at a discount, some players feel the experience becomes repetitive and tiring as it prog
This is a good game, along with their other escape room games. However. I must express my utter annoyance with the developer. At least 2 of these escape room games including this one, use a puzzle format that I had never heard of before playing this game. PIcross, aka nonograms. I myself am a bit surprised I had never heard of this type of puzzle until these games. That being said, I don't appreciate the developer assuming that people already know about them. I had to go to their official guide only to find the exact solution to the puzzle rather than an explanation of the format. If you are going to include puzzles in your game with pre established rules like picross, sudoku, cross sums, minesweeper, or whatever else; please include the rules of the puzzle AT MINIMUM to your guides. Thank you very much.2 found this helpful
Good game As for me it has more precise design and looks a little bit more simple comparing with the "Tested on Humans". Anyway Ihad to think under puzzles resolving and even used internal hints to solve some puzzles ) It is recommended for fans of uch genre.
How Regular IS this factory? Regular Factory: Escape Room is, as the title implies, an escape room game. This means that you're put into a location with a bunch of puzzles to solve, and clues to find that help you solve those puzzles. This is a solid escape room, but it doesn't quite reach the heights of being truly great. First, this game has a little bit of story to string you along, but I find that this story doesn't really do much for the game, as the story and the setting are a bit incongruous, and as the story unfolds, it becomes more and more non-sensical, directly contradicting itself. Some stories can elevate a game, but this one drags it down a bit. Next, we have the actual puzzles. This game does a fantastic job of not having you solving simple logic puzzles, but instead requiring you to find clues, ascribe them to puzzles in the environment, and then figure out how to apply the solution. However, the solutions are never tedious or difficult to implement, so once you know what to do, it's a simple task to solve them. Unfortunately, there were a few puzzles that I found, even after solving them, that I couldn't discover HOW i was supposed to get to that s…
I liked this one :) Many puzzles are easy and some you get REALLY stuck on. Need to think outside the box. I don't like using hints but had to on some of these (and on a few the hints didn't help enough so had to use walkthrough),. But all in all a well made escaperoom for different levels!
That was alright. Got stuck for a bit a couple times, but managed to solve everything without hints, which was pretty nice. I've spent a couple of minutes trying to come up with anything to say about the game. Not much to say; that was alright.
I'd give this a 6/10. It's an ok game if you like puzzle-solving and can buy it at a reasonable discount. However many of the puzzles don't really make sense in the context of the game; some are too easy and others a bit too hard. Very linear - you have to solve all the puzzles in order.
