About Rewoven Self
Rewoven Self is a dual-perspective narrative puzzle game that combines first-person interaction with 2.5D platform exploration.You move between two connected spaces — reality and fantasy.Actions in the real world, such as folding, cutting, and stitching, influence the journey of the paper figure in the fantasy world, gradually guiding the protagonist toward emotional repair and self-growth.The story unfolds across three chapters, following the arc of Escape – Collapse – Reweaving:
- Chapter I – “Escape into Fantasy”
You build a personal fantasy world through folding — hiding emotions inside a paper-shaped space and using imagination to resist the loneliness of the real room.
- Chapter II – “Reality Cages Cage”
The fantasy starts to fall apart.Caught between ideals and reality, the protagonist reaches the edge of emotional breakdown.
- Chapter III – “Fantasy & Reality Reweaving”
You stitch the two worlds back together.While repairing emotions, you also face choices and actions in reality —no longer escaping, but moving forward with fantasy as part of yourself.

Very short and wholesome game accompanied by gorgeous 2D art. It took me close to 15 minutes to finish the game and I highly recommened since it's freeeeeeeeee!2 found this helpful
I really wanted to love this game, the art is cozy, the sound design is calming, and overall the story is a beautifully real and relatable concept that does pull at your heart strings along the way. Though the faults of the game are that sometimes your clicks don't register, and the puzzle aspect can feel more random and without rhyme or reason, rather than puzzling which did take me out of the story at times. Overall for a short, sweet game I would say it's worth playing. Plus bearing in mind this is a game created by a single person without the help of a team I'd say they did a wonderful job.1 found this helpful
The gameplay is unique, the artstyle and stylization is pretty cute. BUT it's so wonky and laggy to the point it's not worth pushing (in my opinion).
I decided to give this title a shot because it looked cute and cozy, and overall I really enjoyed the vibe. It feels like a game that could easily go beyond just three chapters, so if there are plans to expand it in the future, that would be awesome. A few suggestions that could improve the experience: 1. Text readability While playing, the story text and prompts appear in white, which can sometimes be a bit difficult on the eyes depending on the background. It might help to add a subtle background behind the text — for example, a black box with around 80% opacity and rounded corners. This would keep the aesthetic clean while making the text much more readable. 2. Thread guidance in Chapter 2 When pulling the thread toward items on the desk in Chapter 2 (the picture frame, computer, and backpack), it could be helpful to have a dotted guide line showing the direction of the thread. Something similar to the dotted line used when aiming the paper plane would make interactions clearer and more intuitive. 3. Sound settings It would also be great to have more control over audio in the settings menu, such as: Mute option Music volume control Game effects volume control Overall, I …
short wonderful game that gives you a couple of thoughts to ponder that you need to listen to sometimes.
Good short experience with a message everyone should be reminded of. Dont lose your fantasy, and dont lose yourself into that fantasy.
