About Riftcast

Discover the realm of Reveria, a wild world a cast of curious creatures call home. Take the role as one of these monsters as you encounter all kinds of Reverians, and embark on all sorts of adventures and quests!
⭐ PLAY YOUR WAY
Customise your experience with two versions in Red and Blue, with exclusive and more easily accessible areas, homelands, species and shells, real time progression toggles and two distinct gameplay modes...⭐ GO EASY, GO HARD
In Revery Mode, you're free to tame and nurture your currently active Reverian in one of 10 distinct homelands, while Gazing Mode presents a more challenging experience with requiring regular check-ins to maintain your whole team's well-being all at once - all while playing as the very weakest Reverians.
⭐ MEET THE REVERIANS
Play as one of over 50 fully-evolved Reverians in Revery Mode (or 5 special Reverians in Gazing Mode), and encounter over 100 species and discover their unique traits and needs, from dietary needs and instinctual habits to elemental skills and special abilities. Recruit and raise up to 20 party members through adoption, dropped eggs and defeating invaders! ⭐RAISE YOUR REVERIANS
Keep your party in top form by feeding, training and tending to their needs. Spend quality time with your party members by playing minigames and fighting alongside them, and watch bonds form as they hang out amongst each other... but watch out for infighting, truancy and sabotage!⭐ COMPETE IN BATTLES
Fight with your party members or enter the fray with your own player character in classic turn-based bouts. Test your skills in Training Battles, participate in Tourneys, and undertake daring Nightward Raids against waves of adversaries!
⭐ EXPLORE THE WORLD
Visit your homeland for items, amenities and quests, and send off party members to search for materials and work for money and experience. Discover new areas to explore in as you increase your Player Rank with quests and raids!
⭐ COLLECT, CULTIVATE AND CRAFT
Manage your inventory wisely and stock up on essential supplies from your homeland's shops and the elusive Alterworks Depot. Harvest plants, go on a voyage for materials, craft your own items and cook new foods with the help of your party members!

💫 PLEASE NOTE
This game's still in active development, and certain features, items and the like that are already visible or available don't do anything as of yet.

Great idea, but it doesn't run. It starts a process in the background and the user must terminate the process manually, lest let it run and do whatever it is doing.2 found this helpful
A little tricky to get into, some translation oddness in the UI, the manual is a must-read. Otherwise an excellent !!!Free!!! Virtual Pet to have questing in the corner while you browse the internet!2 found this helpful
This is my first time playing a game in this genre. I like the game so far. There is lot of content and it's all for free. The pixel art is good and the sprite animations are really cute. There are coloured sprites and I am not sure if everything will be colour in final release. Personally I like the colour sprites The Audio can use sliders to increase or decrease the volume instead of on/off It's interesting and takes some time getting used to. I suggest to add a tutorial to showcase what each feature does and how to progress the game.1 found this helpful
